It a game with two teams so evenly matched, the difference might come down to a single defensive or special teams play. I give that slight advantage to Houston. They have a superb kicking game along with a strong linebacking corps that can give the Cougars that extra push for the win and cover. Also, Tulsa's passing defense is atrocious, ranking in the bottom 20 nationally.

A brutal, late season rivalry game with plenty of storylines to fuel the anger between these two schools. Unlike the last meetings between these coaches, I expect defense to play the key role in the matchup. Pitt's pass rush is the key to taming Geno Smith and his high-flying receivers. With WVU's lack of an effective running game, I expect Aaron Donald and the rest Pitt's pass rushers to pin their ears back and tee off on Geno in the pocket. Conversely, Pitt's offense isn't explosive. They are dealing with a list of meaningful injuries to offensive linemen, running backs, and wideouts. Sunseri has been effective lately, but at a slow game pace. Fifty seven points is an imposing number in this type of rivalry, and I'm rolling with the under.
