His recent (split-decision) win over Mitch Raposo showed his resilience and got him on the right foot again. It was a much needed victory and he should build and learn from it. Mudaerji's reach advantage will serve him well, allowing him to control distance and land cleaner shots. Borjas, while a powerful striker, lacks versatility. When Mudaerjii loses, its typically by submission. (Six of his seven losses came by submission and the other was via decision.) Mudaerji should able to avoid being submitted, as Borjas has no professional submission wins. His ability to maintain relentless striking pressure should ultimately lead to a second straight victory.

Analysis: (3%) KANSAS Off a disappointing season, one which included a home loss to a Mountain West team (UNLV), the Jayhawks are going to be all business in this one. It's a huge day as the Jayhawks will be unveiling their updated Memorial Stadium after a $450 million renovation. Recall that last season's six “home” games were played off-campus, at nearby pro venues. Four of those were at Arrowhead Stadium. So, the Jayhawks and their fans will be fired up for an extra special opener. They catch Fresno State with almost all new faces, both on and off the field. The Bulldogs, who have a new coaching staff, graduated 16 players and had seven starters transfer to Power-4 schools. They won't be ready for what's waiting for them.
