| Analysis: LISTED PITCHERS PERALTA/ BIEBER We are getting plus money with a guy who has a 0.41 ERA in the month of August. One more thing, he plays on the best team in baseball. Freddy Peralta is having his best MLB season of his 8-year career. We like Freddy to have another quality start tonight. Shane Bieber gets his second start of the season tonight. He did look good in that first start but we did witness his last game with the Triple A Bisons. He was hit hard at certain times in that game. He only gave up two hits to Miami but one was a HR. We believe going up against a team that can hit, maybe problematic for Bieber. Shane has only pitched 18 innings since April 2023. We like the Brewers to put a few out of the park tonight and give Freddy some run support. The Brewers have lost two straight and we like Milwaukee to break that small losing streak tonight. | Analysis: LISTED STARTERS CORTES/ MATTHEWS 5% GOOD AT 145 4% AT 150 Our selection is on the SD Padres minus 119 We are a little surprised with this line especially as Cortes looks like he is back on track. We had this game at 145 for low on the Padres. Only having to lay 119 makes it a 5% play for us. Cortes had two tough starts at the beginning of the year and was injured until August. He was traded to SD from Milwaukee and he has had a great start to his SD career. He is sporting a 3.00 ERA and a WHIP of 1.19. He just shutdown the Dodgers on 1 hit over 6 innings and anything like that today will help SD to the winners circle. The Padres have lost 3 of their last 4 games and are now 2 games behind LA for the NL West title. They do have a 4 game wildcard lead but they need to beat teams like the Twins as the schedule will be very tough in September. The Twins send Zebby Matthews to the hill and Zebby has not had a great season sporting a 5.30 ERA with a WHIP of 1.52. August has not got any better for Matthews sporting a 4.66 ERA with a WHIP of 1.71. Minnesota are in a tough spot as this is their first home after a 6 game road trip. Both teams had Thursday off. If Cortes falters the Padres have the best BP in MLB and that is another HUGE advantage for us in this one. So lets get the job done with the SD Padres. Don Buster |

| Analysis: QUICK ANALYSIS There is no doubt when you bet games OVER 61 you need some bad defenses on the field with some decent offenses. We believe we have all of the above. We know it is only one game but both UNLV and Sam Houston were terrible on defense. UNLV allowed over 400 yards passing against Idaho St. Yes, Idaho St. As for Sam Houston they could not stop Western Kentucky last week as the Hilltoppers hung up 41 points. We will look for fireworks tonight as these teams should be able to go up and down the field on each other. The only concern is the rushing game for UNLV which could kill a bunch of clock. What that means for us is that we just drop down our play from a Best Bet. Don Buster |
