I think MYSTERY MAN is a very good choice. Shows signs of the look of a lucrative play, averaging a solid 76 speed fig which is one of the top in this group of animals. Jockey's recent return on investment figs make this gelding a very good bet. Will most likely be one of the front-runners of the pack going into the halfway point of the race. WE CALL HIM DOC - I like the jockey on this gelding - respectable chance to win the outing. Bethke should be able to get this gelding to break out sharply for this event.

I have to consider BLACK TWISTER here. With Hernandezsanch in the saddle guiding him, this colt should be able to break out quickly in this race. Should wake up with Lasix change (on Lasix) today. Should be considered a key contender on earnings per start at the distance/surface alone. RUALAN - This pony has some longshot handicapping angles going for him. I would have to support this colt on the jockey and handler numbers alone. ROCK DIAMOND V. - This horse has to be bet on at the expected high odds.

CLASSY LASS - You don't need to look any further. This horse has my dough. Way too much speed.

Vulnerable Contenders: #6 LEGACY TRAIL (ML=2/1), #1 WICKED LUNA (ML=3/1), #2 ACCELERINA (ML=7/2),

LEGACY TRAIL - This filly hasn't been showing me anything positive in the last two outings. WICKED LUNA - Don't think this racer will do much running in today's event. That last speed figure was quite unimpressive when compared with today's class figure. ACCELERINA - I cannot play this continual non-winner. Gets the task fulfilled now and then. Substandard rating in the last race at Mountaineer Park at 1 mile. Don't think this questionable contender will improve too much in today's race.

AVALON GIRL - Many positive 'vibrations' associated with this pony and her brain trust. WARM DAYS - Taking this jock/conditioner combination is a good decision. Have to make this filly a serious competitor; she comes off a solid contest on September 13th.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 SUPRISING CODE (ML=2/1), #8 VILLAINY (ML=5/2), #4 PONDICHERRY (ML=8/1),

SUPRISING CODE - Notched a quite unimpressive rating in the last race in a $20,000 Maiden Claiming race on Aug 23rd. Not probable to see an improved performance off of that fig. VILLAINY - In this type of situation, this vulnerable equine's inability to close any ground in the last contest is a cause for concern. Don't believe this racer will make an impact in today's event. That last speed figure was somewhat easily forgotten when compared with today's class figure. PONDICHERRY - Hasn't hit the board in any sprint races recently. Doubtful to see her doing it this time out either. This filly finished outside the top 3 on July 12th and wasn't close to winning last race out either. 55/52/45, are the dropping speed figures for this entrant.
