Race Summary	PASS FAILED has been away for four months, perhaps working on her slow-starting habit. She ran second behind wire-to-wire repeater Bonita Diamond at 5F and faced five runners-up with an average 61 Beyer in her last three starts, two as the favorite. She gets the nod for a win and place bet in a weak field.

#9 TULLY ROAD (6-1)	Exits fast and productive turf sprint, gets weight break, good value play.

Race Summary	TULLY ROAD chased the 3-to-5, multiple stakes-placed winner to mid-stretch before fading in a 5F turf sprint against the boys. She finished a neck behind a next-out maiden $40,000 winner. Bet to win and place in her second start with blinkers and first try on the synthetic track. Also play a 3-6-9 exacta box.

4^th race [Clm 50000 N2L, 6 ? F] – (2) Big Air (D) was bet down from 11-1 to 7-1, pressed the pace, and finished fourth in a starter allowance three weeks ago. (7) Perugia returns from a June layoff and moves from turf back to dirt where he was a convincing maiden special weight winner against NY-breds. (5) Chocolatechocolate was taken for $20,000 from a fast maiden race and then was second in a N2L claimer after having the lead. (1) Circuit Court was a maiden $35,000 winner at Saratoga by almost six lengths who since tried a pair of starter allowances.

5^th race [Md 35000, 6F] – (1) Medium Cool (D) was a longshot last time and had a drop in odds from 36-1 to 30-1 and moves from turf to dirt while taking a significant drop in class. (6) Clarividente had three second-place finishes in maiden special weights outside of New York. (8) Marajoline was fourth in her debut at Monmouth Park at 5-2 in a maiden special and then tried the turf twice at Aqueduct. (3) Cravings drops from a pair of maiden special weights at Aqueduct as a filly that sold for $200,000 in April.

7^th race [Clm 30000B, 6 ? F] – (1) Bourbon Serengeti (B) got pinched back at the start and then had to race five wide the whole way as the favorite, finished fourth in July at Saratoga, and got claimed for $50,000 for the second time in her last three starts. (9) Maxaluna won a maiden $40,000 at first asking and a N3L claimer last month and gets in this race as a 3-year-old with three wins already. (8) Moon Gate comes back from a September layoff. She won at Saratoga in an open claimer and was taken for $32,000. She was in tough in her last two races. (7) Cararra cuts back in distance a bit after showing early speed and drops down to the lowest level of her career.

8^th race [OC 75K/N2X, 6 ? F] – (5) With the Angels is undefeated in five starts with the first four against NY-breds where she moved from an 11-length maiden score to three easy victories in state-bred stakes. Last month she took a first-level allowance against open company. (6) All Class has 10 top three finishes from 14 starts where she raced in allowance company. In September she tried the Gallant Bloom (G2). (3) Cupid’s Heart has four top three finishes at this second-level of allowances and a couple of tries in NY-bred stakes. (2) Twirling Beauty returns from a September layoff and changes to the barn of David Duggan. She was second in stakes at Presque Isle and tried the turf when last seen in September.

Best bets: Big Air (4^th); With the Angels (8^th). Best value: Medium Cool (5^th); Bourbon Serengeti (7^th).

Hoosier Park has a 13-race card with the 0.50 Early Pick 4 starting in Race 6. The sequence has a low 12% takeout, and it will be my focus. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6 (6:32 PM EDT)

5-Can'ttouchthese (1/1)-Team DeLong 3-year-old has won 4 of the last 5 starts, and the only loss came 4 back when it was hung the mile on 10-31. The race should go through this filly and it likes to win. Has captured 10 of 20 starts this year and has 16 pictures in 27 races at HoP. Has good tactical speed and unless the trip is really bumpy this should be the picture taker.

Race 7 (6:55 PM EDT)

1-Ayeaye Captain Deo (12-1)-Going to look for some value in this leg and fade the 9/5 program chalk #4 and will start with a price shot. The Robert Taylor entry tries Lasix for the 2nd time and hasn't drawn post 1 since it won the Simcoe at Mohawk in early September. Raced okay last week but couldn't make up ground down the lane. That was on a sloppy track and will look for better here.
7-Chadler Bing (7/2)-This is a nice local bred who has lost to the program choice in the last 2 races. Has finished 2nd in both races, but last time raced better with Trace Tetrick at the controls. Tetrick sticks, and the Alvin Miller pupil could be sitting on a big try.
9-Extra Suds (6-1)-The post makes it a bigger challenge and improves the price. Won last time in the slop from post 5 and was used hard into a 26.2 opening quarter. Did get the top and made every call a winning one. Has big gate speed to get there again and Peter Wrenn should have the pedal down.
10-Banderas (12-1)-Got the pocket and lost by a head to the one above last time. Could get a cozy trip here if okay going into the 1st turn. This is a longshot that could get sucked around and connect if within reach of the leader at the head of the stretch.

Race 8 (7:18 PM EDT)

4-Gorgeous Big Guy (7/2)-Big Guy raced evenly last time in the slop and has finished 2nd in 11 races this year. Not overly impressed with a small price on Oakwood Ardan, the 2-1 chalk who will likely be slammed. Will look to the other Burke entry to win and to add value to the Pick 4 sequence.
6-I'm Skinnydipin N (5/2)-Dropped and popped in last and has finished 2nd in the last 3 races against straight Open company. Does step up, but this is a player with an honest pace to close into.

Race 9 (7:41 PM EDT)

6-Play Me Rock (3-1)-Here is an up and down sort that manages to win its share of races. Made the most of landing in the pocket in last and has the gate speed to get a top of the stack trip again.
7-American Classic (7/2)-Drops and should appreciate the company. Atlee Bender usually drives and with this post draw needs to provide a sharp steer. Bender found a live cover flow the last time the veteran drew post 7. He rolled by down the lane and finished with a 26.2 last quarter.
8-Joker Rockwell (5-1)-Could leave and get a decent early seat. There isn't much gate speed and an aggressive start should help chances. John DeLong picked here over #1 and could be a player at a square price.
