Have to wager on this colt with the reliable earnings per start in dirt route races. COBRANDO - Conditioner boasts very solid win figures at this distance and surface. Some decent numbers have been posted by this trainer's starters racing at this distance and surface.

Race 1 - Um?ker

4 Opal Kiro has not started since the beginning of October and he has actually not won since March. Owns great speed for this class. He took three wins in a row during the winter last year and is our pick here.

5 Guli Sanna has galloped in three straight starts but has the speed to challenge.

8 Franko M.R. has been strong lately but needs to set a new record to fight for victory here.

6 Grim returns after a layoff.

5 Guli Selma got locked in with energy left in the last race. She has a better handicap towards Ymer Dox now. Early contender

2 Skeie Balder has a draw to take the lead and in that position he has won 2/4.

5 MH Herkules has found form lately.

5 A Summer Fling (Bet Now: $1.35) is short but should be taking care of these. She debuted over this trip at Ascot when near the speed throughout and looked the winner when presented but just found one better, who bloused out wide. No depth to this maiden, she should be winning and winning well.

2 My Danny Boy (Bet Now: $8.00) is a son of Playing God that debuts for Tiarnna Noske. This guy was formerly with Team Williams but has had a couple of trials for Noske and each time has looked pretty good. Not sure he beats the favourite but runs well regardless.

9 Palacio (Bet Now: $26.00) is a Long Leaf filly that is on debut for Brett Pope. She has had three trials this time in to get ready for start one, so the grounding is there to say she’ll run really well…doubt she wins, but is a must for exotics.

2 Last Shout (Bet Now: $16.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He resumed over 1200m at Bunbury where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. If he can get a drag into the race, he can finish over the top.

9 Reminiscence (Bet Now: $3.20) is a son of Farnan that is on debut for Team Williams. He was formerly with GaiBott but is now in WA with Team Williams and with a strong trial under the belt, the grounding is there to say he’ll take beating. Watch betting.

7 Dakined (Bet Now: $41.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1000m at Bunbury when off speed and kept chasing without really threatening. Maps to settle much closer and be effective late so include in exotics.

Race 3. (17:24) Bryson Canvas Mdn 1406m

6 The Rocket (Bet Now: $4.20) seems the straight bat play. He steps up to 1400m after a resumption of 1200m at Ascot when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat when third to Rock The Market. Fitter and up in trip, maps to settle near the speed and be effective late.

7 Spangledstar (Bet Now: $13.00) steps up to 1400m after resuming over 1300m at Pinjarra. She got a fair way out of her ground and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought. Tricky draw but with a drag into the race, she can take this out.

Long Shot

3 Newington Boy (Bet Now: $126.00) is a stayer that resumes for Ryan Hill but is a knockout first four contender. He is better suited at 2000m but his trial work hasn’t been too bad to my eye and the grounding is well and truly there to say he can run a cheeky race at a price.

3 Angel Undercover (Bet Now: $2.00) looks the good thing on the program. She ran over 1400m at Ascot a few weeks ago where she got back off speed and closed with real purpose, clocking the best race splits in defeat behind Without Reg. Better suited here, can settle closer and launch over the top. Keen.

6 Wubin Gold (Bet Now: $3.50) steps up to 1300m after racing over 1200m at Ascot. She got back to near last in the run and while she was never threatening, she kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat behind Timeless Gem. The extra 100m should be fine and is the clear threat, if any.

Long Shot

1 Triple Jay (Bet Now: $7.00) is a Team Pearce trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since May 28 when racing on the Scarpside track here, finishing down the track in the Belmont Sprint. Has a good record here though, trialled well and can sprint well fresh.

Race 5. (18:40) Darren Christie's Birthday Hcp (C1) 1600m

6 Sky God (Bet Now: $14.00) each way in what looks an open race of the quaddie. He ran over this trip at Ascot a couple of weeks ago when back off speed and was solid enough to the line without really threatening. Has a gate to settle much closer in the run and gets a rider upgrade IMO vs last start.

3 Tousled Crown (Bet Now: $1.90) steps up to the mile after racing over 1500m last Wednesday at Ascot. She got off speed but tracked up nicely and loomed to be some sort of threat when asked but just whacked to the line I thought, racing like she wants more ground, which she gets here. Dangerous.

Long Shot

7 Sky River (Bet Now: $10.00) isn’t far off a win for Neville Parnham. She was keen in the run early last start at Ascot before taking the front and she gave a good sight but just felt the pinch late. Not sure I could back her to win but is a first four threat.

Race 6. (19:15) Jack Haines 60Th Hcp (C5) 1600m

5 Beermullah (Bet Now: $27.00) is worth a peanut on an each way basis. He resumed over this track/distance where he attempted to lead throughout and he gave a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late, perhaps in need of the run. I think with a patient steer, a bunny to chase, he can be more effective.

1 Our Nemesis (Bet Now: $2.35) ran second in the same race, won by Classic Rogue. He lobbed into a decent spot in transit near the speed and was there to win. Just found Classic Rogue a touch too good on the day. Racing well and should be around the mark.

Long Shot

3 Harbin (Bet Now: $34.00) comes through the Grandstand Cup over 1500m here when outclassed on paper and ran accordingly, getting back to near last in the run and was never really a factor. Much better suited here at this level, I think he’s a definite improver.

Race 7. (19:55) Tabtouch Hcp (C3) 1406m

2 Don’t Trust Judas (Bet Now: $5.00) is the way I am leaning. He ran over this trip at Ascot last start where he got off speed and was held up at times before getting clear air and was good late, just missing third behind True Blue Bondi. If the breaks go his way, he can win.

9 Tresspassing (Bet Now: $4.60) is knocking on the door. He ran over this trip at Ascot last time out where he attempted to lead throughout and he did give a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late. Dangerous if he gets front end control.

1 Muddy Waters (Bet Now: $9.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing over the mile here. He got back, wide with cover, and tried hard to get involved but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Our Mate Archie. Back to 1400m I like and with a drag into the race, he’ll be hard to hold out.

Race 8. (20:30) Mandurah Cup Sat Jan 3 Hcp (C3) 1200m

I think 1 Mantua (Bet Now: $14.00) is a really good each way gamble to close out the meeting. Total forgive at Ascot last start, getting dragged back to last despite drawing an inside gate and although he made up ground, he was never threatening. If the gate can be used to advantage here, he’ll only run well.

5 Princess In Red (Bet Now: $2.70) is a key threat after a last start second over trip at Ascot. Got into a lovely spot just off speed and tracked into the race with purpose, looming to win but just couldn’t quite get there. She’ll be around the mark.

6 Hyperreal (Bet Now: $10.00) ran over this trip last Wednesday at Ascot when on speed throughout and tried hard very hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when fourth. Good racing style, dangerous if she gets front end control.

He was a real eye catcher on debut at Canterbury before going to Warwick Farm where I am convinced he goes close if he didn’t have to dodge the ill fated Ichiban Koji. He’ll love 1600m at Randwick, time to wind up…keen.

2 Man Of Worth (Bet Now: $3.30) is a key threat, but shouldn’t be favourite. He had every chance last Friday at Canterbury but couldn’t reel in all the way winner Hereward. He should be better suited at Randwick, hard fit and gets in well after the claim.

Long Shot

11 Not So Casual (Bet Now: $81.00) steps up to the mile after a debut over 1200m at Kembla. She got back to near last in the run and was never really threatening behind Li’l Grug. Better for the run and up in trip, claim…one for exotics.

11 Miss Supernova (Bet Now: $15.00) is an each way speck here for me. Ryan/Alexiou trained filly that was kept quite safe in betting when debuting over 1100m at Canterbury. She landed on speed pretty comfortably I front and did try hard but just couldn’t quite see it through. Tick over trial was pretty good and this doesn’t appear to be a deep contest so she’ll do me each way.

5 Makhachev (Bet Now: $9.50) comes back to 1200m after a debut placing over 1300m on the Kenso. He got into a reasonable spot in transit and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Better for the run and with a kind map in his corner, he only runs well.

6 Cellarmaster (Bet Now: $4.60) was kept quite safe in betting when resuming on the Kenso. He was chasing from a fair way out and while safely held, he was far from disgraced in defeat. Fitter, can settle closer, dangerous.

Long Shot

13 Tinklejazz (Bet Now: $9.00) hasn’t been too bad in two career outings for Team Archibald, the latest being over 1250m at Canterbury when off speed and worked home with real purpose when second to Airworthy. Like her up to 1400m, can settle closer and be effective late.

Race 4. (15:20) Buy An Arrowfield Graduate Handicap (64) 1000m

4 Apollo Ridge (Bet Now: $12.00) looks a short course type and appears suited here so he’ll do me each way. He comes to town off the back of a maiden win over 1000m at Hawkesbury, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in. Good test here but confident he can measure up.

5 Beside The Ocean (Bet Now: $2.60) is a Chris Waller trained filly that resumes. She had a two run Winter prep, the second run seeing her bolt up on heavy ground at Warwick Farm. Trialled well, maps to do no work, she’s a key threat.

6 Da Snoop Dog (Bet Now: $6.00) is an interesting runner. There was a lot to like about his debut win at the Sunny Coast, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in. Interesting placement but I do think he has talent.

Race 5. (16:00) Star Turn @ Vinery Handicap (78) 1000m

2 Power Of The Brave (Bet Now: $4.80) is an on speed short course type that is suited at 1000m. He was on speed over 1000m at Canterbury last time out and tried hare but felt the pinch late behind Columbia Blue. He’ll run a beauty against these.

1 Silentstar (Bet Now: $7.00) is a Ryan/Alexiou trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since the early part of the Spring when a winner at Canterbury on heavy ground. Just one soft trial for the return but has a touch of quality vs these. Market will be the guide.

Long Shot

3 Unique Ambition (Bet Now: $15.00) is first up for John Sargent and bears close watching. She hasn’t raced since the Sapphire in the Autumn when first up and didn’t fire a shot behind Infancy. Been given a good break and her trial work has been quite encouraging so watch betting.

Race 6. (16:40) 2026 Inglis Yearling Sale Series Handicap (72) 1300m

2 Aroha Stone (Bet Now: $12.00) looks to have returned in beast mode for Nathan Doyle and I am confident she can measure up. Trialled up like a rocket prior to resuming on the Beaumont track at Newcastle where she was absolutely trucking on speed before being clicked up and she went through her gears like a good horse to win. I think she’ll run a beauty against these.

8 Sequista (Bet Now: $3.40) has finally got the maiden win on the board and she can certainly go on with it. Not sure she beat much at Gosford last time to break the maiden status but the manner in which she put them away was just so damn impressive, winning by a space. Her confidence is up, she can win again.

Long Shot

1 Super Bright (Bet Now: $16.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. She ran over this trip at Rosehill three weeks back when off speed and chasing but kept on and was far from disgraced in defeat behind Bella Corazon. Tricky draw but looks to be a chance with luck in running.

Race 7. (17:20) Summer Cup 2000m

6 Touristic (Bet Now: $27.00) is a great each way speck at odds. He resumed in the Festival where he was back near last in the run and in a race dominated on speed, he was never a threat. But, his last 50m and through the line was good. Loved the tick over trial and yes, he’ll need luck, but you’re getting a price to find out if he can get that luck.

3 Major Beel (Bet Now: $6.00) was a big priced winner of the ATC Cup but he was fancied at a price. He got into a sweet spot just off the speed before angling clear and was impressive in the run to the line. 2000m off a mini freshen up should be no issue, he’s hard to beat.

Long Shot

5 Tavi Time (Bet Now: $7.00) won the race last year and although he is hard to catch, I think he is on track. He comes through The Ingham where he got back to near last in the run and was good late without threatening. Like him up to 2000m, can settle closer and be effective late.

Race 8. (18:00) Brave Smash @ Yarrman Handicap (72) 1300m

3 True To Form (Bet Now: $20.00) is a Kris Lees trained gelding that resumes. He looks to be humming off his trial work, the latest at Gosford where he was well held but looked to be absolutely jogging. Good fresh horse, I say he is here to play and can take this out.

11 Shelstein (Bet Now: $7.00) should be better for the run at Canterbury, where he was kept quite safe in betting but not much went right for him and he was never really a factor behind Columbia Blue. Fitter, maps to stalk the speed and be effective late. Dangerous.

Long Shot

1 Little Beginnings (Bet Now: $35.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing at Rosehill when on speed throughout and tried hard but just felt the pinch at the end behind Tuned. Good racing style…doubt he wins but can run first four.
