Wizards back at home here in a spot I love them to keep this game close. Despite the horrible record this is a good matchup with the Raptors dealing with injuries. Ever since RJ Barrett went down this offense has just been very bad.
Barrett went down in late November and in all of December the Raptors have had the WORST offensive rating in the entire league, which should help facing a bad Wizards defense (although healthier now). The Pace is a big deal in this one to me with the Raptors playing extremely slow ranked 28th in Pace and do not shoot a ton of 3s being ranked 26th in 3P frequency and shoot a very similar percentage to the Wizards.
In a low total game where the Raptors will look to control the pace, and will take a ton of 2s (top 5 frequency) and with the struggling offense, the Wizards will have a great chance to stay in this one.
Raptors will also be without Poeltl and still without
RJ Barrett with Scottie Barnes on the Illness list.
This play is also one of the top sharp signals of on the day.
