Saints defense has actually been pretty impressive on the season ranking 5th in the league against the pass and a borederline top 10 redzone defense. Pair that with 2 offenses putting up 60 combined points last week and now play in a warm windy game

Temp is going to be around 70 degrees in this one and we will have 15-16 MPH winds along with gusts up to 25-30. This will limit any explosive plays through the air and should set up for some short passing game and keeping the clock running.

Fine with 5.5 would prefer 6.

Kind of a spotl have to play with the Jags cruising and the Colts looking like a corpse. Just gave up 40+ points to a very good 49ers offense but now get to play in division here where they are familiar and have nothing to pay for.

Rivers was moving the ball pretty easily last week putting up 27 points looking extremly comfortable.

The defense is coming off of a insane outlier game and have lost 5 games in a row while the Jags have won their last 4 games by 14+.

Jags secondary is weak and can be attacked by Rivers along with them struggling to get to the QB ranking 25th in sacks in the league. Defense thrives off turnovers and can stop the run pretty well so will look to get Taylor out in space in the screen game.

Analysis:

I know the line has jumped considerably, but I'm still willing to back the New England Patriots in an important game, while the New York Jets have officially turned in their scorecard. Let's be real, last week's 23-point loss to the Saints in New Orleans was a clear indicator that the Jets are officially out of contention this season. The Patriots arrive in Jersey with plenty to play for, and as the much better team in all three phases, they should roll past their divisional rivals. The Jets have lost three straight by at least 22 points, and will start undrafted rookie quarterback Brady Cook, who has a 51.7 QB rating. We saw Cook take eight sacks last week in New Orleans, and this week the Patriots' defense will put an exclamation point on the fact he is not an NFL-caliber quarterback. The Patriots boast a perfect 7-0 road record, and bring the third-ranked passing offense to town. They also have the sixth-ranked run defense to counter Jets running back Breece Hall, the Jets' primary offensive weapon who will get plenty of work, all things considered, with Cook. This has blowout written all over it, to the tune of 30-13.
