RUGELACH - Don't often see a favorable ROI like +64. This jock/trainer twosome has done well together over the last twelve months. If you review the PP's for this horse, you'll see she has recorded the top speed rating at the distance and surface. A repeat effort in this race and this horse has a superb chance to win. ASHIMA - That recent bullet 59.1 work shows that this mare is ready for a top race today. This mare is a gem of consistency, almost always in the money. Running 1 mile on the turf, you've have to look at horse's turf figures. This one has the tops in the bunch. You have to bet this horse at a venue she likes. There's nothing like being comfortable out on the track when it's time to race. SOUPER WILLIWAW - Likes to go to the lead and the fact that today is a shorter distance should help. Finished fifth at Gulfstream Park last out. Was close at the end and at odds of 8/1 in this race, she looks like a possible contender. Recent speed ratings show dominant pattern of improvement.

GREAT VENEZUELA - This less than sharp equine will probably be near the rear of the pack as this bunch crosses the wire. SPIRITED BOSS - Don't believe this mount will make an impact in today's event. That last speed fig was somewhat easily forgotten when compared with today's Equibase class figure. SOUPER ZONDA - Hard to wager on any animal to turn things around if there is no reward to taking the chance.
