My College Basketball Analysis
They are balling out now.

On December 13th, the Rebels were missing 6'8 power forward and 2nd leading scorer Kimani Hamilton when they hosted 12-7 Tennessee State.

Laying 12 1/2 they were upset 63-60 putting them at 4-6 on the year.

Hamilton returned 7 days later and scored 20 in the 84-72 home win over Fresno and has helped UNLV reel off 6 of their last 8 in the win column including 3 straight.

After back to back road losses at Wymoing and Colorado State, they just won 3 very impressive games in a row.

At home over Boise State at in OT 89-85 and then on the road at San Jose State 76-62.

However, the 3rd straight was one of the most impressive, last Tuesday at Utah State, where as 15 1/2 point dogs, shocked the world 86-76.

That was the first loss of the year for the Aggies.

Now back home, they welcome in San Diego State, who had their 7 game winning streak snapped at Grand Canyon on Wednesday.

One thing about this game is the Rebels won't be intimidated by this Aztec bunch, they have beaten them 2 straight and 3 of 4 with the only loss in OT.

The Rebels have found something, especially when you look at the box score of the Utah State game.

They had 5 guys score in double figures led by Gibbs-Lawhorn 21 and T.Jones 20 as they shot 50 % from the floor and from deep and made 21 of 25 from the line.

All the momentum in the world is with the home team here and this one goes right down to the wire.

This doggy barks loud and clear this afternoon in Vegas.
