Fair Grounds - Race #7

#6 Halo Music	Price probably won't be all that appealing today, but I think something like the last one should do the trick with this group that doesn't feel particularly deep for this local level.
#7 Final War	His form is all over the place, but he at least showed a touch of life when getting his shortest main-track trip to date last out. Maybe not overmatched.
#4 Bird the Legend	He goes first out for a capable team and isn't meeting a whole lot here, but I'm guessing he takes a bit of cash on the team alone in a soft spot.
Race Summary	Halo Music looks like the controlling pace again here, and maybe he gets a touch easier go of things after ending up in early battles in his last pair.

Fair Grounds - Race #8

#3 Turf Monster	There are a couple of interesting finishing runs on his page, and all of his best form has come over the local turf course. Won't need a whole lot better here.
#6 Wicked as Haggart	Probably wouldn't argue too hard with you if you landed here, as the form has been super-honest outside of the one stakes try, and he should be in a good spot early on with these.
#8 Southscape	He has some occasional tactical pace that might leave him in a good spot early on, but I just think the top pair are a bit more compelling here. One of the ones.
Race Summary	Turf Monster has some appeal if he's offering something like the 6/1 ML price, as he's capable of something just a bit better than the last one, and that would probably be enough with this crew.

Fair Grounds - Race #6

#2 Snare	Think he can win right back, as there are a few races on his page that seem competitive with these, and he might offer an OK price on the rise after a sharp local debut.
#4 Vesture	He has a tendency to be a bit dicey late in the lane, but his better stuff would make him tough here, and he has some pace in a race without a ton of serious early burn.
#6 Mega Magic	He woke up when getting back on the turf last time out, and he has shown a bit better pace at points in the past than he did last time out. Could see it.
Race Summary	Snare looks interesting enough while stepping up to try winners off the local graduation run, and he should be in line for a great first-jump kind of trip today.

She is reunited with Thornton, who was aboard for her last victory. The horse that beat her came back to win again as the 4-to-5 favorite in a $5,000/nw4 claimer.
