RONCHETTI - Has to be considered against this group displaying competitive figures recently and an average Equibase Speed Figure of 66 under similar conditions. Ought to be considered in this contest if only for the formidable speed rating earned in the last race.

SURFIN' U. S. A. - The jock and trainer combination have a favorable ROI when they are put together. I like that last outing on Jan 11th at Santa Anita where she ended up fourth. This animal is for real on the grass. TrackMaster turf fig in last race at Santa Anita was tops in this field. Looks like a possible overlay in this race at M/L odds of 8/1. Finished fourth in last race at Santa Anita but was close at the end. RED CHERRY - This jock and trainer have a high winning percentage together. This horse has the pace, and no one may be able to keep up with her. Here is an appropriate handicapping angle that I've used many times before. Play a filly (like this one) getting Lasix for the second time. Sadler is strong in turf sprints. This horse should have no rationalizations if she doesn't win. KIZAZI - This animal is uppermost in earnings per race. She looks nice in today's race. Just missed hitting the board on January 8th at Santa Anita. With pretty good odds in this race, she has my interest. I believe this horse will be right there at the wire. Gets Lasix for the 2nd time, so Nehf must have confidence in her. This one has increased her speed ratings from a fig of 68 to 72 to 80 in a row.

SILKIE SEVEI (IRE) - Not easy to play this steed this time. Make her show you something in a short distance event before you play her in a race of 6 1/2 furlongs. This morning-line choice probably needs at least one race to get back into shape. Pass on her today. NOT WITH A FOX - Don't believe this questionable contender is worth 9/2 in this contest. FANCY LADY - Just don't believe she is offering enough value at the likely odds.

You'll be making money left and right by turning your betting money onto this jock/trainer combination. Biancone is giving this one Lasix for the first time. I like it. WOOTUN - Smullen is hoping to get a little more out of this colt by adding blinkers today.
