I think ATLAS RISE is a decent choice. Has been running soundly and has among the strongest speed in the race for today's distance. With Edison controlling the reins on him, this gelding will almost certainly be able to break out early in this race. Ran a very solid last race. I C VISIONS - Has been running admirably lately and will probably be close to the lead early on. BLUES LITTLE LOKO - Ran a very strong last race. He has been moving soundly recently while recording strong speed figures.

NOBLE GENTLEMAN - Although it's been awhile, this gelding won at a higher class level and at today's distance. I think he could run back to that old form today. A big drop in class figure points from his December 24th race at Parx Racing. Based on that element, I will give this thoroughbred the advantage. MOVING TO KENTUCKY - This jockey and trainer's horses have been generating a beneficial return on investment. Jock hops right back aloft after getting to know the horse by riding last out. That's always a good tip. A repeat of that most recent performance on Dec 31st where he garnered a speed fig of 74 looks lofty enough to win in this race.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 JACKSON'S LEGACY (ML=7/2), #13 HEY BUDDY (ML=4/1), #6 REAL TALENTED (ML=5/1),

JACKSON'S LEGACY - Tough to keep following this sort of 'bridesmaid' horse. Doubtful that the speed rating he recorded on January 22nd will be good enough in this race. HEY BUDDY - Won't be easy for this horse to beat this bunch off of that last speed fig. Improbable to improve enough to run a figure close to today's Equibase class figure, so put him on the possibly overvalued equines list. REAL TALENTED - Not easy to support any horse in a short distance race if he hasn't finished in the money in a sprint in the last sixty days. Would have to move up off that fifth place finish last time to make an impact here. This gelding notched a speed figure in his last clash which probably isn't good enough in today's race.
