MYBANDIT - Look for this gelding to show better in this event. Last race at Parx Racing finishing fifth in the mud is no indication of his true ability. Trainer Vega moves this animal down the class scale to face weaker company. Look for a solid effort in here. I like this gelding. Has the highest earnings per race in this event. I always like to see a pony getting Lasix for the first time. Vega adds it on this one today. SOAR ABOVE - Don't often see a profitable return on investment like +76. This rider/conditioner tandem has done well together over the last 12 months. After the race aboard this equine on January 5th, the jock is going to be acquainted with the gelding much better. Trainer Flores-Coba moves this one to a lower class level to face a weaker class today. Look for a strong effort with this class drop. Just look at his recent speed fig, 47. That one fits in this bunch.

Vulnerable Contenders: #10 CAP'N CATS (ML=4/1), #7 FILLED WITH DESIRE (ML=9/2), #2 CHASER RACER (ML=6/1),

CAP'N CATS - This sustainer looks to have little chance without a speed duel up front. Garnered a somewhat easily forgotten speed figure last out in a $15,000 Maiden Claiming race on December 31st. Not probable to see an improved performance off of that fig. FILLED WITH DESIRE - The sixth place result in the last event was not the best. The speed rating last time out doesn't fit very well in this clash when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's race. Mark this thoroughbred as a vulnerable competitor. CHASER RACER - Doesn't seem to be worth 6/1 in today's event. Pass on him this time.

When Barbaran and Ccamaque partner up on animals the return on investment has been wonderful at +167. Look at this filly's PP lines. With each race she keeps getting closer. I like that recent outing on Feb 5th at Mahoning Valley Race Cour where she finished second. This filly earned a strong fig of 50 in her last event. That figure should be good enough to prove victorious in today's event.
