SHARONS ANGELS - Difficult to invest in any thoroughbred in a short distance affair at 5/2 when he hasn't shown any on the board results in sprints in the last 60 days. Finished fifth in his most recent race with a substandard speed figure. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to triumph after that in this group. 1st race – (1) Human Desire has endured some tough racing luck. Gets a win from the rail. (6) Corso’s Pick may be the right choice in a claimer. (9) Name It belongs in the exotics. (7) Abuelo will be helped by a fast pace. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-7-9.
3rd race – (3) Candy Addiction looks best off a return to a claimer. (7) Eyes On the Ground deserves a look off the Klesaris claim. (1) Sonic Surge should be a threat in a claimer. (2) Eternal Dream fits in nicely here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-7.

2^nd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (3) Probability has three second-place finishes in a row including last month when he made his first start for Amelia Green. Blinkers come off. (6) Power Speed came back from a four month layoff, showed early speed, and finished fourth. (4) Mo Curls was claimed for $30,000 when he was second in December and stepped back up to this level. (1) Classic Commander changes barns and blinkers are off.
4^th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Alzero (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 6-1, got taken up at the break, and finished third three weeks ago. (3) Lord King pressed the pace in his third start and was fourth. (4) Speightful Storm returns from a December layoff and three fourth-place finishes in a row. (2) Poppy’s Ticket made his last two starts against open company with a second in a $40,000 claimer.
7^th race [OC 75K/SAL 75k, 6F] – (6) Pinky Brier was first or second in 5 out of her last 6 starts with three wins with early speed. Last time she got bumped around early in the race and could not get involved. (8) Karey was second in a similar spot three weeks ago following a maiden claiming win. (2) Purple Divine was claimed for $40,000 two races back when she had the lead and ended up third. Last time she was also third in the Maddie May two weeks ago. (4) Caradise won a high price optional claimer in January and then did no running on a muddy and sealed track.
8^th race [Clm 10000, 1 mi] – (1) Hours in a Day drops to the lowest level of his career following a pair of thirds for a $20,000 tag. (2) Brew Pub was third at this level in February and a week later was overmatched for $20,000. This will be career start 69 for the 8-year-old. (5) Hey Toby will drop after a series of starts in NY-bred allowance races. (6) Knox dropped to $10,000 and got claimed three weeks ago after running third.
