I've got to go with THEYCALLHIMGOLDIE. Well above average win clip at this distance/surface. With a formidable jockey who has won at a respectable 31 percent clip over the last 30 days. This has to be one of the top choices. SEATHERNY - This equine is in the upper half of this field in earnings per start at the distance/surface. He has been racing quite well recently while recording strong speed figures. IFTHEDEVILDANCED - With Larrosa in the saddle guiding him, this gelding will most likely be able to break out quickly for this race. Is hard not to look at given the company run in as of late.

CHESTERTOWN JANE - Sophisticated handicappers will tell you that this thoroughbred has strong pace. Another way to determine class is EPS (earnings per start). This animal has the highest in the bunch. I think she'll be close at the finish. GREATWHITEFLEET - Note that although this filly finished second in her last race, she was well clear of the third place horse. This is a classic positive angle. The jock and trainer combination have a profitable ROI when they are put together. This filly is in good condition, having run a good race on March 6th, finishing second. A repeat of that last performance on Mar 6th where she garnered a fig of 54 looks strong enough to score in this affair. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run her best in the 3rd or 4th start back. VALERIE STREET - Ran in the last race against a tougher field at Laurel. The move down the class scale should suit her well. Sanchez-Salomon, the trainer, shows intent by adding Lasix today. A positive sign. The addition of the 'shades' usually means that a trainer wants a thoroughbred to show more early speed or to keep her attention focused.

SHE'S COMPLICATED - The rest of the group may trail this thoroughbred all the way around the track. Entered a $17,500 Claiming race at Aqueduct last time around the track and raced on a track listed as good finishing sixth. Should do much better in this race. HAUNTRESS - Getting a break of 10 pounds from last race at Evangeline Downs. She should make the most of this advantage. Last ran at Evangeline Downs and finished fourth. Reviewing her PP data, I see she was close at the wire, within five of the winner. I believe the addition of the 'hood' today will help this mare focus her attention on racing. FLOGE - This jockey and trainer's equines have been producing a beneficial ROI. Trainer Romero moves this horse to a lower class rank to face a less competitive field. Look for a nice race at this level. This horse has increased her speed ratings from a fig of 58 to 65 to 68 in succession.

Has been running solidly lately and will probably be up near the lead early on. SISTER SLEW - She has put up very good figures under today's conditions and should fare well against this field. She has a good opportunity in this race as trainer, Biancone, has very strong win clip with horses going this distance.
