The Cubs got bad news: starting pitcher Cade Horton will miss the season after needing elbow surgery. Matthew Boyd is on the IR as well. Chicago has elevated Colin Rea back into a starting role to soften the blow. Injuries are a part of the game, but no team expects them to happen so early into a campaign. Tampa hits right-handers well and should get on the board enough to make it a higher-scoring game. The Rays’ bullpen is currently the worst in baseball, and was just dealt another blow with Garrett Cleavinger on IR.
