Charles Town has a $101,973 carryover and mandatory payout provision for tonight's pick 6 sequence. Races 4-9 make up the 6-pack, beginning at 8:25 pm ET. The Charles Town pick 6 is a 20-cent base bet. Here are my key plays.

Charles Town - Race #4

#5 BOSS LADY K P (9-5): Solo play to begin Pick 6.
#2 HELLO FOXY (6-1): Starts fresh, gets pace to rally into on cutback from two-turn sprint.
#4 CLOUDYNCOOL (10-1): ‘Boss’ stablemate idle since Fall but ‘ultra sharp’ in MSW win with blinks on.

Race Summary: BOSS LADY K P fired a blank in allowance company off a similar layoff to begin her 3-year-old season in 2025. But she bounced back to set the pace and finish 1-2 in allowance company before chasing the winning favorite and tiring in a double ‘key’ 4-1/2F sprint when last seen in August. If she’s right, she should wire the field in her first start for a claiming price for a hot barn. Bet to win and place.

Charles Town - Race #5

#1 JUST DO BELIEVE (5-2): Believe in this barn to hopefully keep alive the Pick 6 hopes.
#4 LAURIE DUN Y’ALL (5-1): Other half of uncoupled Farrior entry; dam won debut at Santa Anita by 10-1/2 lengths.
#9 JANE N MARGO (3-1): ‘Willing’ third throughout as the 8-to-5 favorite in her debut.

Race Summary: Trainer Anthony Farrior sends out a double threat to enhance his 23-percent win rate with first-time starters. Use both in the Jackpot Pick 6, but lean toward JUST DO BELIEVE despite drawing the difficult rail post going 4-1/2F. The $80,000 sales buy shows several fast workouts at Laurel Park and her sire, Dialed In, ranks in the Top 50 in North America this year with $2.4 million in progeny earnings. Bet to win and place and play a 1/ 4,9/ALL trifecta.

Charles Town - Race #9

#2 GONE WITH THE WYN (6-1): Last won at this level, contended for higher tags, offers some value.
#6 CORRI FELICE (7-2): Won going away in last two starts as the favorite off similar rest.
#7 FLAG WOMAN (2-1): Good first gear, failed at odds-on in last pair, sheds 7 pounds.

Race Summary: GONE WITH THE WYN, overmatched in allowance company, can factor at a decent price in the final leg of the Pick 6 if she duplicates her in-the-money runs at the $10k, $15k and $25k levels this year. She finished in the money in half of her career starts, most at this distance, and looks to surpass $100,000 in earnings. Bet to win and place and play an exacta with numbers 2, 6 over 2, 6, 7, 9.

Churchill Downs - Race #5

#2 Super Saiyajin	He has been holding his own through the last couple starts and should be in a good spot turning for home again. The danger is that he's going to run into a talented fresh face, he's a threat on that established form.
#11 Bet on Silver	Debuter seems to be working forwardly enough and might find an OK chasing spot from out here. Check him out on the tote and track.
#10 Quick Silla	He's another firster with a regular worktab who goes for a capable barn. Wouldn't be any surprise in here.
Race Summary	Super Saiyajin may not have a ton of upside here, but I think he's in the mix either way if he is able to hold the form from the last pair. Would be appealing at something like the 5/1 ML offering.

Churchill Downs - Race #6

#4 Hot Mash	Her Grade I try at Woodbine suggests she has some upside while stretching out off the sprint comeback, so I'm expecting that she'll move forward enough to land this one.
#5 Dagmara	She's got the pace to play early, but I think she can also tap the brakes a little bit of one of the other forward players wants to have a run up top. Respect.
#6 Star Actress	She'll try the turf for the first time with a versatile enough pedigree, she hinted at a little quality earlier in the year and may have some renewed enthusiasm on the move to the lawn.
Race Summary	Hot Mash gets the edge while likely to get a first-jump kind of trip with this bunch. Fun race though, wouldn't be surprised by the other two.

Churchill Downs - Race #8

#10 Plensa	He might appreciate a little bit of class relief off the bench after failing to really pick up in a pair of Grade III tries to end his campaign last year. Dangerous if he has any upside as a 4-year-old
#3 Idratherbeblessed	He's not far removed from setting the tempo in some graded-stakes spots, so I'm hoping he can flash some of that speed while trying to find something better than a couple of mild recent tries. Better stuff would do here if he could find it.
#2 Tough Little Nut	He's a little tough to trust, but his better game stacks up OK with this group and might keep him in the picture for a piece of this at an OK price.
Race Summary	Plensa met a good group when last seen in Grade III company, and she has a pretty reasonable claim on this while getting out of those tougher stakes spots. In play if she's ready to roll.

SPATULA - This filly was sharp enough to post a 'top two' workout recently. I think she's ready for today's event. I like that most recent outing on May 14th at Charles Town where she ended up second. This filly is rounding her way back into shape. Should race well today.

Vulnerable Contenders: #4 ELITE MISS (ML=5/2), #6 SWEET MANHATTAN (ML=3/1), #1 PALPITATIONS (ML=8/1),

ELITE MISS - Registered a mediocre speed figure in the last race in a $12,500 Maiden Claiming race on May 28th. Not probable to see an improved performance off of that fig. SWEET MANHATTAN - This horse likes to finish in the money, but doesn't usually finish on top. Don't put in the top spot. That was merely not a very good display in the last affair. PALPITATIONS - In the last event this questionable contender finished fourth. Doesn't look promising for her chances today.

GUARD OF HONOUR - If today's contest shapes up right, all the front runners will force a furious speed duel early. Too bad this horse is one of those front runners. Don't feel this entrant will make an impact in today's race. That last rating was pedestrian when compared with today's class figure. BAD BOY BLAZE - This vulnerable equine ran a disappointing rating last race out. He shouldn't improve and will probably suffer defeat today running that rating. KING OF THE WORLD - This less than sharp equine didn't do too much last time finishing sixth. Can't expect a reversal of fortune in today's event. No value in making bets on this entrant.
