4-STAR HOUSTON -3 over Cincinnati - Houston is being overlooked here. Sure they lost three straight heading into this game but they really haven't had much to play for during that time. In fact, in our playoff database since 2002 teams are 7-3 ATS in the playoffs when they have lost at least two straight coming in. The Bengals haven't beat a playoff team all season and won't start here.

Last week, Cincinnati faced a potentially must win game and couldn't do it, falling 24-16 to Baltimore. They were down 10-0 after the first quarter and 17-3 at halftime. The Bengals are 0-20-1 ATS (-8.5 ppg) since December 21, 1997 as between a 4.5 point favorite and 7.5 point dog after a game on turf where they trailed after the first and second quarters (p:M1<0 and p:surface=artificial and team=Bengals and 19971221<=date and -7.5<=line<=4.5 and p:M2<0).
Cincinnati remained committed to the run in that game with 24 attempts for 105 yards.
