      Saturday NBA Opinion
      ATLANTA (+3 ½) over Miami
      Rotation #808– 4:05 pm Pacific
Miami has lost 4 of their last 5 road games against average or better teams and the Hawks are certainly capable of getting their revenge for a 109-116 early season home loss to the Heat. Atlanta applies to a 40-10-1 ATS subset of a 92-40-2 ATS home underdog momentum situation. Atlanta has struggled against good teams since losing Al Horford to injury, so I’ll just lean with the Hawks today.

      Sunday College Opinions/Possible Best Bets
      St. John’s (+14 ½) over GEORGETOWN
      Rotation #817 – 10 am Pacific
Georgetown is just 11-31 ATS in conference home games since 2008, including 2-15 ATS laying double-digits, and the Hoyas may still be thinking about their overtime loss at Syracuse rather than concentrating on a struggling St. John’s team that they beat by 20 points earlier this season. Not only does Georgetown apply to a 22-76-1 ATS situation that is based on their loss at Syracuse, but St. John’s applies to an 85-24-3 ATS big road underdog bounce-back situation that is based on their two recent blowout losses. The Red Storm also apply to a 123-55-2 ATS revenge situation that is based on their home blowout loss to the Hoyas. My ratings favor Georgetown by 16 points but I’ll give up some line value to play the strong angles. I’ll take St. John’s in a 2-Star Best Bet at +15 points or more.

Boston College (+12 ½) over VIRGINIA TECH
      Rotation #829 – 3 pm Pacific
Boston College coach Steve Donahue had zero returning starters this season and the Eagles struggled at the start of the season. However, Donahue is a good coach and he’s got his young team playing pretty well lately and the Eagles are 8-2 ATS in conference play and coming off an upset win over Florida State. Virginia Tech, meanwhile, is just 2-8 straight up and 1-9 ATS since conference play started and using conference games only would favor the Hokies by just 4 points in this game. Using all games this season favors Virginia Tech by 12 ½ points and Boston College applies to a 94-40-1 ATS big road underdog momentum situation. Donahue’s teams are also 63-28-3 ATS in his coaching career as a road underdog, including 10-0 ATS recently. I’ll take Boston College in a 2-Star Best Bet at +13 points or more.
