Milwaukee has been an over machine lately and we think they dictate the pace on this hobbled New Orleans team tonight. Although the Hornets are a team that likes to dictate a slow pace in order to stay in games, the Bucks love to speed up the game this season and the bookies have not been able to adjust their numbers. In a season where the under has been the main betting story because of the crazy abbreviated schedule, the Bucks have been a beacon of light to over players at 18-9-1 for the over and the over is 16-5 in their last 21 overall. The Bucks average 99 PPG at home and this team has shown the ability to put up points on some solid defensive clubs, In their last 10 they have put up 100+ on Toronto, Detroit and the LA Lakers. As a side-effect of their increased pace they have been giving up points to some bad offenses as well. This team has allowed 106 PPG in their last five contests and while New Orleans won’t get anywhere close to that tonight, they don’t need to since this posted total is so low. We think as long as the Hornets get in the high 80s that this one will cash pretty easily. While the Hornets are considered a strong under team the oddsmakers are starting to overadjust their totals and five of their last eight have gone over the posted number. We think this is another one that is too low and we expect this one to go over by at least a few points.Comment
