    OTTAWA -½ +120 over Washington

There are so many things to like about the Senators here with the least of them being that they're vastly superior to the Capitals. Most notably, current form heavily favors the Sens as well. Ottawa has won three in a row, all on the road, and outscored its opponents over that span 16-2. They've picked up points in five straight with four wins and an OT loss. By contrast, Washington has two wins in its last eight games. Both wins came against the sinking Panthers. After beating Florida 2-1 on Friday, the Caps subsequently lost to Tampa Bay and Carolina, not exactly the cream of the crop, by a combined score of 7-1. The Southeast division is so weak that the Capitals could actually finish 12th out of 15 teams in the conference and still make the playoffs by winning the division. Right now, they sit in third place just two points behind Winnipeg and Florida but they continue to lose crucial games to middle of the pack clubs. They’ll step up in class here against these hugely undervalued Senators. Few want to believe this host is as good as their record may indicate but truth be told, Ottawa is a solid club. They keep on winning and the wins are becoming more lopsided than before. The best news is that the Sens are 0-3 against Washington this season and that's a complete aberration that is going to correct itself here. Play Ottawa -½ +120 (Risking 2 units).

    Boston +117 over ST. LOUIS

We all heard the “what's wrong with the Blackhawks” chants during Chicago's ugly nine-game slide until it stopped after the Blackhawks defeated the Rangers, Blues and Red Wings in three successive games. Chicago went through a rough stretch, as every team does during the course of 82 games and now the Bruins are enduring their own. Truth is, there's nothing wrong with Boston either. Sure, they've lost two in a row, three of four and they've played around .500 hockey for approximately six weeks but a closer look reveals that things are not as bad as they seem. That 2-0 loss on Sunday to Minnesota is one of the more misleading scores of the season, as Boston fired 50 shots on net, while Niklas Backstrom stood on his head. That recent 3-0 loss to the Rangers saw Boston completely dominate and outshoot New York 42-20. The point is, they're playing as well right now as they were when they were ploughing through everyone. The Bruins have not let up and may in fact be playing harder than usual as they get into post-season mode. The results will come and there's no reason it can't start here. The Blues are having a tremendous year. However, they're just 2-2 in their last four and three of those games came against Columbus, Minnesota and the Islanders. However, this one isn't about wagering against the Blue Notes. It's all about taking back a price on one of the NHL's elite teams that the marketplace is misreading. Play: Boston +117 (Risking 2 units).

Pick: Game Total OVER 129 -110

The Frogs like to get up and down the court, but went through an offensive slump for four games that saw them not get out of the 50s in any of them. The real picture crystalizes on this team and their tempo when you look at the 11 games that surrounded the slump, six before and five after. Those 11 games are more indicitive of what this team is all about as the Frogs averaged close to 79 ppg in the 11. Air Force likes to slow things down, but vs. offensive minded Boise State they allowed 72 and got hit for 81 vs. the Lobos. Despite the slow tempo mindset of the Falcons, it hasn't stopped their home games from finding the way OVER the total as they are 12-4 to the OVER here in their last 16.
Play on the OVER in this one.

West Virginia +135 over NOTRE DAME Pinnacle
Let's go back to Thanksgiving when the first glimpse that many people had of the Irish was an 87-58 blowout loss against Missouri. Fighting Irish star Tim Abromaitis played in that game against the Tigers but subsequently was lost for the season. The common assumption was that the Irish were in for a long year. That assumption still looked good as recently as mid-January even after a thrilling double-overtime win at Louisville. Notre Dame was just 3-3 in the Big East at that point. They were coming off back-to-back losses and trending in the wrong direction. Brey's team was beaten soundly at home by Connecticut 67-53 and then fell on the road at Rutgers 65-58. Then the 20-0, #1 ranked Syracuse Orange came to South Bend and left with a 67-58 loss, courtesy of the Irish. That game proved to be the turning point in Notre Dame's season. The win against Syracuse tipped off what is now an 8-0 streak, one that has lifted ND into a second-place tie in the Big East standings with Marquette. Heading into tonight's game against West Virginia in South Bend, the Irish are nationally ranked and projected to be a No. 6 seed in the NCAA tournament. Great story indeed but once again we lean to our sell high philosophy, as Notre Dame has accomplished more than expected and a breather or poor outing is forthcoming. The Mountaineers are a team that everyone should fear. Their stock is low with five losses in seven games but they're coming off that confidence building, 20-point win over Pittsburgh. WVU's defense is scary good. They can dominate on the boards and they can hit shots too. They went through their rough stretch already and they're over it. The small line for a ranked team at home strongly suggests the Irish could be in trouble here and we couldn't agree more. Play: West Virginia +135 (Risking 2 units).

3-1 (+3.67 Units) - Last Night. Hopefully you guys got the -1.5 instead of the -2 on Virginia who just so happened to tank the last three 1 & 1 attempts to just barely get by. The Hornets forced OT only to almost end up losing an 11 point advantage, but still hold on. Philly crushes the over by in the NHL as we win by the end of the 2nd quarter. Our lone loss came as UNC fails to stay under the total. Thats now 4 straight winning days and 5 out of the last 6 days. A winning week is our goal, stop fooling yourself into thinking you can win everyday. While we would love for that to be the case, we have been doing this so long that we know that we don't have to. Since last summer we have doubled and tripled our bankroll. Follow the system, and stay focused.

4-2 (+3.82 Units) Run in NHL

                        NHL

                        Kings Under 5 -130 (2.3 Units to win 2)
                        - Kings are hitting at 73% unders for the season. The Kings are coming off a huge over and haven't gone back to back overs since early Jan. Colorado is not a very good scoring team averaging 2.4 goals a game. They have gone under 2 out of the last 3 and tonight looks to be another great opportunity to go under.

                        NBA

                        Indiana -5.5 (2 Units)
                        - The Bobcats are averaging 1 win a month and more importantly in their losses they usually get blown out. We went against the Pacers last night and picked up a ATS win, lets jump on the wagon tonight as they get their 4th victory in row against the pitiful Bobcats.

                        NCAAB

                        Central Florida -1.5 (1.5 Units)
                        - Rice is just 6-12 ATS this season which includes 4 ATS losses in their last 5. Central Florida on the other hand is on a 4-0 ATS run. Central Florida is clearly the better team tonight.
