The 76ers have been out of sorts for a while now. They have two wins over Toronto and New Jersey over their past eight games. In a rematch against the Nets this past Friday, the 76ers lost by six points as an 11½-point choice. Against a depleted Magic team last night, Philly lost by 13. Now the red-hot and talented Pacers come in here riding a five-game winning streak and having won nine of their past 10, including a five-point win over the juggernaut Thunder. The Pacers are among the toughest outs in the Association. They have size, scoring and they play tremendous defense too. All five starters went off for double digits last game. The Pacers are simply the much more focused group right now while the 76ers have been heading south for weeks. Minnesota is at 4-18 over their last 22 games and have fallen prey in each of their last 10 and have covered just two of their last 12. Memphis is an opportunistic running team, and they will take advantage of the T-Wolves, just as so many other good teams have recently and run for easy buckets.
