Barry Zito is winless in his two career teams start in the Steel City. He is also 0-3 away with a 10.98 ERA in his last three July road team starts. So far in July, much of the same, coming off a four game sweep of the Astros, and scoring 27 runs in their last four games.
Erik Bedard has been horrible on the road this year but very good at home. Zito allows a lot of walks and the Pirates will take advantage. Look for Pittsburgh to get the win on Friday night.
