Chicago is also getting back Paul Konerko (he is probable) and that will give the team a big boost mentally and physically. The road team has won six of eight in this series and the White Sox have some revenge after losing the last two at home to the Royals. 1.5-Unit Play. Take #922 N.Y. Yankees (-135) over Boston (7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 17) Boston stinks! The Yankees aren't going to take it easy on their rivals. Boston is a mess right now and New York is playing great baseball. The Yankees just took three of four from the mighty Rangers and they are feeling very good right now. Boston just lost another series to Baltimore and they know they aren't going to the playoffs. The pitching matchup and the lineups all favor New York and they are just too tough to beat in the Bronx. |
