Game: Chicago White Sox at Detroit (7:05 PM Eastern) Pick: Chicago White Sox +130 (moneyline)
Jake Peavy will take the mound tonight for the White Sox. It has been five long years since he was atop the NL with a 19-6 record and dominating hitters. He finally seems to be healthy after arm problems, has arm strength build up and has been pitching to an above average AL ERA of 3.09. He has not allowed more than three runs in any of his last six starts, so the Chi_Sox certainly should be in this one to win it. Doug Fister has pitched well of late for the Tigers, but he was held back from his last start with a groin injury, and noone knows for sure what impact that will have tonight. however, it could go bad. Peavy has come up big on the road against good teams where the Sox are 8-2 in his last ten road starts against a better than .500 team. The Tigers are biting the bullet with Fister on the mound to a low total of 7-8.5 losing their last seven. Play on Chicago.

4* Nc State (+3) over Tennessee 7:30 PM -- Georgia Dome - Atlanta, GA Truly believe N.C. State is gonna be a team to reckon with this year as QB Glennon is a future pro and defense is always thinking turnovers (they were + 14 last year) with CB Amerson getting 13 INTs. Tennessee HC Dooley feelin’ the heat and now without top pass-catcher Rogers who recently transferred after failed drug test. Believe Tennessee is favored here on reputation only as State’s the better team with well-balanced offense and they’ll win by double figures here. N.C. STATE 32-20. Game is being played inside the Georgia Dome.
