Point Train's CFB Saturday - Three Plays
            6-Unit - #190 Auburn (+3) over Clemson – 6:00 PM CST
After winning the National Championship in 2010-11, Auburn went through a rebuilding year last season. The Tigers had to replace a lot of upper classmen with talented, yet unproven, freshmen and sophomores. The Tigers lost five games to teams that all finished in the top-25 – and three that played in BCS bowls (LSU, Alabama, and Clemson). They return 15 starters, including nine on a defensive unit that could be scary-good. Clemson was not good on the road/neutral sites last season. They were 3-4 in road/neutral sites and allowed an average of 32.8 points in those seven games. Clemson won this matchup at home last year to snap a 14-game winning streak by Auburn. Clemson burned Auburn with 386 passing yards and 238 rushing. Clemson will be without reigning freshman of the year and All-American WR Sammy Watkins (82 receptions, 1,219 yards, 11 touchdowns) who will be serving a suspension here. Auburn’s defense will be amped to avenge that performance
last season we expect AU to come away with an upset here.

            Complimentary Free Plays

            4-Unit - #161 Ohio (+6.5) over Penn State – 11:00 AM CST
Penn State players and fans will be rowdy for this game. Coaches will have the players riled up from an offseason’s worth of pent-up anger & emotion. That adrenaline can only last so long and Penn State won’t be able to mask its lack of playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Penn State has just four returning starters on defense and two on offense and lost a lot of depth after players decided to transfer once the NCAA came down with all of the penalties. Ohio is off of a 10-win season that included a Bowl win. QB Tyler Tettleton returns after tossing 28 touchdowns and rushing for 10 more. The defense should also be strong as eight starters return. Expect the Bobcats to endure the initial wave of adrenaline that PSU will have to start the game and take Ohio plus the points on the road.

            3-Unit - #180 Colorado State (+6.5) over Colorado – 3:00 PM CST
Colorado State has 15 returning starters from last year’s squad. The Rams weren’t as bad as the 3-9 record indicated last season. They lost four games by a touchdown or less and had tough games against TCU & Boise State. They do return the top RB, three top WR, and eight of the top 10 defenders from a year ago, so expect a much improved Rams squad this season. The Buffalos, on the other hand, averaged just 19.8 points per game and its defense allowed 36.5 points per game. The Buffalos have just three returning starters on offense (lost its top passer, rusher, and top two receivers). And the defense lost its top two playmakers. This will be another rebuilding year for the Buffs and we like an amped up Colorado State team to cover in this rivalry game. Take CSU plus the points.
