The clock strikes midnight for the Cinderella Oakland A's tonight. It's been a great run and one of the best Baseball stories of the 2012 Season but it ends tonight. The A's have to face Max Scherzer who has really been the stud of the Tiger staff down the stretch. Yes even more so than Verlander. Scherzer has gone 10 straight starts giving up 3 runs or less and in fact in 9 of the 10 it was 2 runs or less. The A's counter with A.J Griffin who in his last 4 starts has been in the shower by the 5th inning. In 3 of those 4 starts he has given up 4 runs or more. Look for the Tigers to get to him early as I don't believe he can handle the pressure of a Ž playoff game in an elimination game. Tigers end this series tonight with a 6-3 win.
