      Double-dime bet 408 W. Kentucky 2.5 (-115) 5dimes vs 407 La.-Monroe

      Analysis:
I'm laying the points with Western Kentucky as they look to continue their covering ways. The Hilltoppers have upgraded their talent on the field over the last couple of seasons and they enter on a 12-3 SU run (15-0 ATS). WKU is loaded on the offensive side of the line of scrimmage and that's where they own a big advantage. The Warhawks are struggling when it comes to slowing teams down. UL-Monroe ranks 83rd in the nation against the pass and they're one of the worst teams in FBS in QB sacks, rarely getting to the opposing signal caller. That presents a serious problem for UL-M against WKU. Hilltopper QB Jakes is a 68% passer, averaging over 8 yards per pass attempt with 11 TDs aÖnd just 3 INTs. Jakes has been well protected, getting sacked just about one time per game. I simply expect WKU's offense to be too much for their Sun Belt opponent. Besides the Hilltoppers 15-0 ATS run, UL-Monroe heads out on the road having covered just 2 of their last 9 road games against teams with a wining home record. I'm laying the points with Western Kentucky on Saturday. Thanks! GL! Scott Spreitzer.

              PINNACLE...Take California

              Rivalry Game of the Year

The Golden Bears go for a big home win in Berkeley over the 20th-ranked Stanford Cardinal. last week at Notre Dame, The Cardinal defensively came to play, but once again shaky junior quarterback Josh Nunes play cost Stanford the game. The ferocious Fighting Irish defense picked off Nunes twice and thwarted senior running back Stepfan Taylor twice at the goal line to survive. Cal won its game at Washington State 31-17 and are ready for this showdown. The Bears lost their first and third games in Berkeley this season to pretty good clubs Nevada and Arizona State by seven and 10 points. California also beat UCLA 43-17 during the second week of October at home. As far as the Cardinal are concerned, Stanford's QB struggled in both so if the Bears can get good play from Maynard and force Nunes into mistakes there's no reason California can't win outright. Coach Tedford has his job on the line with this game.
