| Indian Cowboy 6-Unit Play. #503. Take Boston +6 over Miami (Tuesday @ 8:05pm est). It's never a bad idea to fade the defending champ on opening night. When you are the opposing team, in particular a rival like Boston who feels they should have beaten the Heat if they had Avery Bradley in the series (and losing your sharp shooter Ray Allen who basically felt unloved near the end of the season so he left with trade talks), you really don't need much more motivation than that. But, to be sitting around in your locker room waiting for the defending champs to get their rings, to see their smiles, jumping around, your probably going to be motivated to come out and do well. This is what typically happens and the public of course will take the bait on the relatively short line here on the Heat at home. The Heat, with Lebron, Wade, Bosh, the new faces that are the sharp shooters etc..., but still, it comes down to chemistry. And, with this new lineup, it will take some time for this team to mesh as well whereas Boston has been playing together for a while and they are a bit deeper this year - and will be even more deeper with Bradley returns from injury. The Celtics are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings against the Heat. |
