Georgia State is a squad that has faced some tough competition this year. This team faced the likes of Duke and BYU to start the year which are difficult feats losing to such teams by scores of 19 to Duke and 18 to BYU who are essentially top 50 power ranking teams. Then, this team has reeled off 3 straight wins over the likes of Monmouth, Tennessee State and South Alabama who are 3 squads who are in the 150-225 range. Georgia State is a squad that is top 125 in defense which is something of value and this will be the toughest team that East Carolina would have faced all year thus far. East Carolina is certainly 4-0 and they deserve credit but note that two of their wins come against non-division one schools and the other two wins are against teams that are outside the top 200 And, both of those wins were at home. This will be this team's first road game in of the year, and against a top 175 at team at that. Imagine beating a top 225 team at home by 3 points and now going on the road to facing a top 175 team and one who has a top 125 defense to boot. This could be a tough task at hand for East Carolina and I like Georgia State to do well today.

The Denver Nuggets have played well of late as they are now 8-6 to their credit and have won 4 straight. Note that Utah has revenge from a 20 point loss to Denver earlier this season and they look to exact that revenge today. Utah has also played to the Under more when they come off difficult losses as well. After losing 97-108 to Sacramento on the road, this is a big of a revenge angle for Utah. And, typically that type of game goes favorite and under as it speaks to today. This is a decent public fade on one of the later games on the board as our plays usually are but also note that the Nuggets are 15-5-1 to the Under after a straight up win of more than 10 points and the Under is also 4-0 for the Jazz following a straight up loss of more than 10 points. This is a team that has more of a defensive identity when they come off a loss and I like the Jazz to have that element today especially with the added motivation of revenge as well.
