          VEGAS SPORTS INFORMER
          3 Unit Play. Take #719 Over 188 ½ Memphis at Golden St (10:35 p.m., Wednesday, January 9)
          2 Unit Play. Take #720 Golden St -1 ½ over Memphis (10:35 p.m., Wednesday, January 9)
(Write up for both) Golden St has been very good at home winning 3-straight home games and 2 of those games won by double-digits. The Warriors are a young and upcoming team in the west and if they can run tonight against Memphis this game could be in our favor on both plays. Memphis is coming off a road win on Monday against Sacramento and the Grizzlies score 113 points which is very rare. If the Grizzlies hit their shots tonight and this game is close I see this total going over with no problem. Golden St is 20-7-1 ATS following a SU loss and the Warriors are also 8-2 ATS after allowing 100pts or more in their last game. Golden St is 6-2-1 O/U in their last 9 home games and in this series the last 5 meetings in Golden St 4 of them have gone over the total.

              College Basketball Comp Pick

              Iowa State +12.5 over Kansas
Iowa State might be the best offensive shooting team in the Big 12 and this Kansas team is a little bit doubtful as they have not been totally dominate this year. The Field House is a tough place to play. Kansas has won 99 of their last 100 games in this place. Iowa State already beat this team earlier this year and gave them trouble last year in this very same building. This Cyclone team has a weird schedule to start they year and has only played one game since December 20th. They beat Yale and I really believe this game has been circled on the calendar as a winnable game. If they don’t come out flat and instead come out with a great game plan I could see them being in position to make a historic upset. Lets have some fun tonight and take the money line at +700 that’s like winning 7 bets in a row. Take Iowa State.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For College Basketball

                    3-Unit Play. #736. Take St. John's -3 over Rutgers (Wednesday @ 7pm est).

                    3-Unit Play. #730. Take Fordham -1.5 over Duquesne (Wednesday @ 7pm est).

                    3-Unit Play. #793. Take Valparaiso -2.5 over Illinois-Chicago (Wednesday @ 8pm est).

Rutgers beat St. John's last year by a score of 61-58 and this is a revenge game for St. Johns. St. John's comes off a monster win against Cincinnati on the road winning 53-52 which is a huge win for Steve Lavin's ballclub. This team has shown a lot of potential this year beating Detroit, hanging with Murray State and losing by 5, taking Villanova to the limit on the road and losing in overtime and of course their most recent win over Cincinnati. This is a team that has gained a lot of experience from last year's season when they won 13 games in total and have already won 9 games this year. This team is still extremely young as if you look at their production from top down they are led by seven underclassman who are either sophomore (gained experience last year) or freshman. Look for the young players to feed off the crowd here and to do well as they continue to gain confidence like they did from the tight loss against Villanova only to beat Cincinnati in the next game. Plus, with Rutgers coming off a big win against Pittsburgh I wouldn't be surprised if they have a let down here against St. Johns on the road. Rutgers barely defeated Princeton by 6 on the road earlier and their only other road win is against NC Greensboro who is a top 300 team and even that win was by 7 points. Otherwise this team has lost to Ole Miss and Syracuse on the road. The biggest key to this game is likely the fact that despite St. Johns has a young backcourt they are top 10 in the nation in turnover percentage and Rutgers is outside the top 250 in turnover percentage and I think that will be a key factor in St. Johns picking up the win and the cover here. The Scarlet Knights of Rutgers are 1-6 ATS when facing teams with a winning home record on the road and I like St. Johns here with revenge. Fordham lost to Duquesne last year 77-67 and have not beat them since 2008 if you go back. So there is no doubt that Fordham will be up for this game. Duquesne comes off back to back losses against Louisiana Lafayette and Penn State and they have yet to show road prowess. Their biggest road win is against Appalachian State who is a top 275 team by 1 point and they sport a turnover percentage of greater than 250 as they hit the road here. You have a Fordham team who although has 4 wins is favored here and part of the reason is their difficult schedule they have played. Tom Pecora's team won 10 games last year but has shown some prowess this year winning against Princeton, Penn and Siena and having played relative powerhouses such as Pitt, St. John's (losing by 11), Harvard, Lehigh, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss. In their last 2 home games they have beat Siena and Monmouth by 11 and 6 and this team does have size as they are a top 100 offensive rebounding team. Having shown the ability to score with comfort at home and with Duquesne questionable road performance, I like the small favorite here in Fordham. Valparaiso hits the road against Ilinois-Chicago. Valparaiso has won this game straight up the last 6 times the have played including by 9 points at home and 5 points on the road last year. Bryce Drew's team is 1-1 in conference play after bouncing back in a big way at home against Cleveland State and now looks to win another contest here at Illinois-Chicago. Valparaiso has shown some road prowess beating the likes of Murray State, Missouri State, playing New Mexico relatively tight and Kent State in overtime away from home. This team is led by 7 upperclassman essentially and although they can take care of the ball a bit better, I like them here given their experience. For as much as Illinois-Chicago has improved, they are outside a top 200 offense and they face a top 60 defense here in Valparaiso. If this team put up 65 against Youngstown State at home they will have a tougher time with this defense here. Having lost to Western Illinois, Miami of Ohio, Toledo and Cleveland State all of whom are lower ranked than Valparaiso in nearly all power rankings, I like Valpo to hang in and pull out the victory on the road here given their experience.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NBA Basketball

                    3-Unit Play. #717. Take Orlando +11.5 over Denver (Wednesday @ 9:05pm est).

5-Unit Play. #720. Take Golden State -1.5 over Memphis (Wednesday @ 10:30pm est).

Orlando beat Denver earlier this year and with this massive losing streak they have step up here as their backs are against the wall. Orlando still does not have Glen Davis in the lineup but showed a lot of heart against Portland in their last game falling inside the 6.5 spread and losing in overtime in a very difficult place to play. With Affalo returning to his stomping ground here, I like Orlando to have a strong game behind their two guards of the future in Affalo and Nelson. Remember Orlando has shown a lot of heart the last few games losing to Miami at home in overtime by 2 points, losing to Chicago at home by 2 points and covering that game as well, they did lose to New York at home by 8 and of course the most recent cover against Portland on the road. I like Orlando to step up here as a solid dog and pick up the cover despite Denver having revenge. With Denver coming off a big win against the Lakers I can see them having a bit of a let down here as I think the Magic show a lot of heart tonight. The Golden State Warriors and Mark Jackson's team in general have done well bouncing-back this year after bad games. This team comes off getting hammered by the Clippers by a score of 89-115 and you can't really blame the Warriors for that game because the Clippers had lost back to back games to the Warriors coming into that game. Even in their most recent losses for the Warriors, they lost by 4 points to Sacramento on the road, then came back to beat Charlotte by 15 points and cover the -10.5 spread, they lost by 3 to the Lakers at home in overtime only to beat Utah on the road by double-digits as an outright dog. As they come off one of the worst losses of the season, I like the Warriors to bounce-back here as they also have revenge from a 10 point loss to Memphis earlier this year as well.

Leans: OKC with revenge, but laying a lot of points here so laying off, plus Minnesota has covered their last 5 games against the Timberwolves as well. Also I think the Spurs bounce-back here after that loss on the road against New Orleans but teams have a way of coming together after injuries which the Lakers have now and they were winning against Houston outright before Houston went on a big run late.

4 Unit Play. #730 Take Fordham -1.5 over Duquesne (7 pm Yes Network) Both of these teams are bottom feeder teams in the A-10, but the Rams are starting to play better once Chris Gaston returned to the line-up. The Dukes are coming off two double digit losses to bad teams in Penn State and Louisiana and things will not get any easier tonight. Fordham has played a difficult non-conference schedule playing many BCS Conference teams and that has prepared them well for this match-up. Duquesne is 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games overall. Fordham is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a loss in their previous game.

4 Unit Play. #754 Take Wright State -8 over Cleveland State (7 pm) The Vikings are in complete rebuild mode and are without their leading scorer in Anton Grady. CSU is just 1-6 on the road this season and they have been blown out numerous times and tonight will add to that list. The Raiders are a perfect at home this season.

4 Unit Play. #793 Take Valparaiso -2.5 over Illinois-Chicago (8 pm HLN) The Crusaders are expected to win the Horizon League after Butler bolted for the A-10, but they did not perform that well during the non-conference portion of the season. I expect them to turn it up during conference play and it will start tonight when they hand UIC their first home loss of the season. Valpo won both of the meetings last season with UIC and will enter this game having won the last six match-ups. UIC is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 conference games.

4 Unit Play. #808 Take Texas A & M -2 over Arkansas (9 pm ESPN U) The SWC is reborn as the Aggies and Razorbacks meet for just the second time in the last 20 years. Arkansas has yet to record a victory away from Fayetteville this season and that trend will continue through this evening. Arkansas is 17-42 ATS in their last 59 road games. Enough said.
