Edmonton has also played very well, recording four wins in their first six games. They have played tight in front of the net, and have now held three of their last four opponents to a single goal. Revenge will be served on the court tonight, as the Vandals will pound a depleted Utah State team tonight in Moscow. As you already know, the Aggies have been hit hard with injuries and will enter this game having lost 4 straight contests. Utah State hung with two middle of the pack teams last week at home but those final scores were misleading, as they were down big in both of those games only to make a late rally to have the score look respectable. The Vandals are coming off a very surprising home stand in which they did not perform well against UTSA and Texas State, but I truly believe that was just a case of taking them lightly. That will not happen tonight and I look for a double digit victory by the home team. Utah State is 0-7 ATS in their last 7 games overall. Idaho is 23-9 ATS in their last 32 games against teams with a winning record. The WAC teams are ready to kick Utah State when they are down since they have dominated this league for most of the last decade. Tonight it is Idaho's turn.

4-STAR Memphis and Oklahoma City Under - Memphis is a team which likes to play slow as is. In fact, this is the highest total they've seen in their past 15 games. Add in the fact that they are likely to be shorthanded tonight and we don't think they are going want to push the ball even a little bit.
Memphis enters off a 103-100 win over Philadelphia Monday. It was not easily as they overcame a 17-point deficit in the game. The Grizzlies are 0-10 OU (-8.1 ppg) since January 26, 2007 as a dog off a road win in which they trailed by 10+ points. Also, the League is 0-8 OU (-8.9 ppg) since February 19, 2009 with two or more days of rest off a win as an away favorite in which they trailed by 15+ points.
Zach Randolph was not very active going just 2-of-7 with four points. The Grizzlies are 0-10 OU (-12.2 ppg) since March 27, 2012 after a win in which Zach Randolph took fewer than 10 shots.
It wasn't much different for Tony Allen, going 2-of-6 for five points. The Grizzlies are 0-10 OU (-12.4 ppg) since November 17, 2012 after a win in which Tony Allen scored fewer than 10 points.
Oklahoma City meanwhile is coming off a rare loss, 105-96 in LA. They lost despite committing just nine turnovers. The Thunder are 0-7 OU (-9.6 ppg) since January 27, 2010 with at least one day of rest after a loss in which their field goal attempt per turnover ratio was at least eight.
When these teams met in November, Memphis won on the road. They were led by the departed Rudy Gay in that game with 28 points as Zach Randolph had 20. The Grizzlies are 0-7 OU (-17.6 ppg) since February 07, 2011 after winning the previous matchup on the road in which Zach Randolph was not the Grizzlies' high scorer.
Oklahoma City meanwhile was led by Kevin Durant in the rare home loss with 34 points. The Thunder are 0-5 OU (-12.0 ppg) since May 25, 2011 after losing the previous matchup at home in which Thabo Sefolosha was not the Thunder's high scorer. You're just not convincing me that there are this many points between two Sun Belt teams with respective league records of 4-8 and 5-8. You then add in that Western Kentucky's leading scorer Jamal Crook (14.5 ppg) is out of this game, and this line is just flat out wrong. Troy may be 9-12 in the standings, but the Trojans are getting it done at the betting counter. 11-6 ATS this season, more recently Troy has been even better, cashing its last three against the number and five of its last six overall. I think this number is too tall an order for a Hilltoppers team that has gone 1-6 ATS and SU in its last seven. This number is wrong by at least half. And to boot, Troy has revenge for having Western Kentucky win at their gym in early December. For all these reasons, and the simple fact that both teams' numbers are nearly identical, oddsmakers have overvalued the home team. Grab the points and the live underdog, as we have a close game with the lead trading hands throughout.
