2 Unit Play. Take #813 Over 204 Oklahoma City at Phoenix (8:05 p.m., Sunday, February 10)
These two teams played each other on Friday and the Thunder threw up 127 points against the Suns defense. Oklahoma City is averaging 114.8ppg in their last 5 games and if the Suns defense can't slow down Kevin Durant this game again flies over. OKC Thunder is 7-1 O/U in their last game against a team with a losing record and the Suns are 4-1 O/U in their last 5 games.

                      Opinions and Possible Best Bets
                      Portland (-3) over ORLANDO
                      Rotation #805 – 3 pm Pacific
Orlando has lost 12 straight games and the Magic are just 1-11 ATS in those games, so Portland has a very good chance to snap a 2 game losing streak. In fact, the Blazers’ losses at Dallas and at Houston set them up in a very good 82-24-2 ATS road bounce-back situation. My only is issue is that my ratings only favor Portland by 1 ½ points in this game even after adjusting for Orlando’s current lineup. I’ll lean with Portland at -3 or less and I’d take the Blazers in a 2-Star Best Bet at -2 or better.

                      Houston (-6) over SACRAMENTO
                      Rotation #817 – 6 pm Pacific
Sacramento is coming off a rare win last night over Utah but the Kings apply to a negative 66-134-4 ATS letdown situation tonight against a streaky Rockets team that has covered 7 of 8 games after a 9 game spread losing skid. Houston is 19-7-1 ATS after a win this season and when the Rockets win they usually win by a decent margin. This game is one of those games in which Houston will either win big or lose the game straight up. The Rockets are 10-16 straight up on the road but 9 of those 10 wins have been by 6 points or more. Sacramento, meanwhile, is 13-12 straight up at home but 10 of those 12 losses have been by 8 points or more. I’m not quite pulling the trigger on this game but I’ll lean with Houston at -6 or less.

                            Larry Ness;

Game: Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies Feb 10 2013 6:05PM
                            Prediction: over
Reason: My 10* 29-Club Play is on Min/Mem Over at 6:05 ET.
Memphis lost three of its first four games after dealing leading scorer Rudy Gay to Toronto on Jan 30. Most wondered just how this Memphis team would react to what was clearly a “salary dump” and head coach Lionel Hollins addressed his team before the start of a three-game homestand Friday. "My conversation to them was about believing that they were a good team and committing to the process of being a good team again because we haven't been since we made the trades," he said. The Grizzlies responded with a 99-93 victory over Golden State. Marc Gasol (13.7-7.7) had a team-best 20 points and 11 rebounds while Austin Daye, one of the players acquired in the Gay deal, scored 12 off the bench while hitting 3 of 4 from three-point range (note: Daye had scored a total of just four points in his first three games with Memphis). As for others in that trade, vet Tayshaun Prince scored 25 points in his first two games as a Grizzlie but has followed with just six points in each of his last two, while Ed Davis, who was averaging 9.7 & 6.7 with the Raptors, has just nine points in his four games with Memphis. The Grizzlies have been used to running their offense through Guy but don’t forget that in Randolph (15.7-11.7) and Gasoil, they own one of the most formidable frontcourt combinations in the NBA (the duo should plan on getting heavy opportunities). After getting a much-needed victory in its last outing, the revamped Grizzlies have an excellent opportunity to keep their momentum going over the next two weeks. Memphis begins a stretch of five straight games vs sub-.500 opponents Sunday, against the injury-plagued Minnesota Timberwolves, who've lost 14 of 16 and seven straight on the road. Minnesota's last six defeats overall have come by an average of just six points and Friday' night’s loss was typical. The T-wolves led the Knicks by 11 with seven minutes remaining but lost 100-94 to finish a 1-5 homestand. Minnesota has played without star forward Kevin Love since Jan 3. Chase Budinger, Brandon Roy, Malcolm Lee and Andrei Kirilenko have also been out, with Kirilenko missing the past two games due to a strained right quadriceps. The T-wolves (18-29) head into the first of three meetings with the Grizzlies this season having lost SIX in a row in Memphis since a 94-87 victory Jan 6, 2009. Memphis has won EIGHT straight and nine of the last 10 overall games in the series and I see no reason for Memphis not to win here. However, I’d rather take the “over,” as I’ve noted a number of things lately. First, let’s look at Minnesota. The T-wolves are 5-2-1 to the over in their last eight games and note that all EIGHT of those final scores would have gone over the opening total of 184 1/2 in this game (eight games have averaged 200.8 PPG, more than ‘two TDs’ higher that this opening total!). As for Memphis, I believed the Grizzlies have “settled down” after the trade and in this stretch vs sub-.500 opponent, should make some ‘noise.’ FIVE of Memphis’ last six games have gone over the total and here at home vs a Minnesota team which allows 100.3 PPG on the road, the Grizzlies should reach triple digits, giving us more than enough help to soar over this total.

Robert Ferringo's Picks For NHL Hockey

5-Unit Pick Take over (5.5) Edmonton at Columbus (6 pm, Sunday, February 10)
Please note this is our total of the week

Very good value to get over this total at plus money. Edmonton is fresh off a 2-1 setback yesterday afternoon in Detroit that has ran a current streak off 0-6-1 to the under over their last seven games and have now played to the under 2-8-1 on the season. After Columbus lost 4-3 to Calgary on Thursday the Blue Jackets pushed their total run to 3-0 over their last three games. These two teams are separated by just one game in the win colum with the Oilers having four wins on the season while Columbus sits with just three. Wins don't really matter here, Edmonton has a ton of young talent that is figuring out this level and when they do this team will be special. Columbus has been rebuilding for years and while they struggle on offense they get a good chance to put some pucks in the net vs a Oilers team that has some injuries to their defense. The Oilers talented is young goal scorers who have struggled
against the likes of the Kings, Red Wings and the Sharks none of which Columbus is. I think the young Oilers break out in what should be a stat sheet game against a Columbus team that has giving up four goals or more in six of their eleven games. I think this one will be fast and wide open, plus money is great value.

2-Unit Pick Take #10 New York Rangers (-1.40) over Tampa Bay (7:35 pm, Sunday, February 10)

The Rangers come in here fresh off a 4-1 win vs the hated Islanders in what was a much needed win after a 4-5 start to the season before that win. With the season already a quarter of the way gone this games are going to mean something real quick. One of the Rangers wins was against the Lighting last Saturday in Tampa 3-2 with back up goalie Marty Biron in net. Tampa might find this game even tougher with Henrik Lundqvist back in the net against a Tampa offense that has only produced five goals in their last three games after scoring 37 goals over their prevouis seven games. I think New York is better after adding J.T Miller and I will back the team going upwards here.

3-Unit Play. #809. Take Over 204.5 OKC vs. Phoenix (Sunday @ 8pm est).

At the end of the day, regardless of the hit that this line took to the Under offshore, this is still a very tight line for these two teams. If Phoenix is an even remotely an active underdog given their revenge angle in this game, then they will likely step up on the offensive end and force this game to go Over. With the last 8 of 10 in this series going over, the fact that this is basically a home and home with Phoenix having huge revenge on the offensive end, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Phoenix cover but an overall Over. I think the safer wager here is on the Over given that Phoenix is likely an active underdog and the Over is 7-1 for the Thunder when they face a team with a straight up losing record and the Over is 4-0 for the Suns when they face a team with a straight up winning percentage of greater than sixty percent.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NHL Hockey

Let's build on the 2-1 winning day yesterday:

5-Unit Play. #5. Take Boston Bruins -135 over Buffalo (Sunday @ 7:05pm est).

With new Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula shelling out bushels of cash over the offseason, the NHL's longest-running GM-coach duo is suddenly under fire early this season with Darcy Regier and Lindy Ruff back at the helm, but for how long is the question with Buffalo early season struggles a concern? Sunday Night Showdown at the First Niagara Center, Buffalo, New York has the big, bad, Boston Bruins calling. The Bruins are (10-2) in their last (12) road games and they well remember an earlier loss on their home ice to the Sabres, (7-4). The Bruins are one of the most well-balanced teams in the NHL, leading the League in goal differential two seasons in a row and three of the past four. When goaltender Tim Thomas decided he would take the upcoming season off to spend more time with his family, it left a terrific young goalie, Tuukka Rask, to seize the opportunity as the heir apparent between the pipes and he has performed so well that Thomas rights were sent to the Islanders. The Bruins have a balanced attack led by Tyler Seguin and five others who scored (20) times or more last season. Buffalo played yesterday while the Bruins game was postponed due to the bad weather in New England. Buffalo actually beat up the Bruins in the first meeting and Buffalo HC Lindy Ruff actually called a time out with just a few seconds remaining and the Boston Bruins haven't forgotten about that. Payback the Bruins way can be very punishing!
