    Memphis Grizzlies vs Miami Heat
    Memphis Grizzlies
    +8-108
    at 5dimes
    20* Grizzlies/Heat ESPN Friday No-Brainer on Memphis +8

The Memphis Grizzlies simply have the Miami Heat's number in recent meetings. That's because this is a terrible match-up for Miami as it does not have the post presence to go up against a team like Memphis, which runs its offense through the underrated duo of Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. I look for both of these guys to have monster games tonight for the Grizzlies.

Memphis has won its two most recent meetings with Miami in blowout fashion. It won 104-86 at home on November 11th in their first meeting this season, and 97-82 on the road on April 6th in their final meeting of 2012. In fact, the Grizzlies have now won seven of the last 10 meetings in this series.

The Heat come into this game way overvalued due to their current 12-game winning streak. They have shown signs of being overvalued in their past two games with a come-from-behind 109-105 home victory over Cleveland as a 12-point favorite, and a 141-129 (2 OT) home win over Sacramento as a 15-point favorite.

Memphis has shown that it really does not miss Rudy Gay one bit. It has won eight straight games heading into this contest and it will continue playing with a chip on its shoulder against the defending champs tonight. I look for this one to go right down to the wire, and for the Grizzlies to likely pull off the upset.

The Grizzlies are 8-0 ATS in road games after playing 5 consecutive games as favorite this season. Memphis is 11-1 ATS vs. excellent 3 point shooting teams - making >=39% of their attempts - 2nd half of the season over the last 3 seasons. These two trends combine for a 19-1 (95%) system backing Memphis. Bet the Grizzlies Friday.

Sacramento Kings vs San Antonio Spurs
    San Antonio Spurs
    -14½-105
    at 5dimes
15* NBA Friday No-Doubt Rout on San Antonio Spurs -14.5

After losing two of their last three games in overtime, the San Antonio Spurs come into this game Friday with the Sacramento Kings highly motivated for a victory. That includes a 101-105 home loss to the Phoenix Suns last time out, and you can be sure that head coach Greg Popovich has made it clear to his players that it's was unacceptable.

Off a blowout road win at Orlando, the Kings are feeling good about themselves coming in. They'll quickly be put in their place by a Spurs team that will simply want this one more. I look for this spread to be in the bag by the end of the 3rd quarter tonight folks.

Sacramento is 6-26 on the road this season. It is getting outscored by a whopping 10.1 points/game away from home this year. That's not good news for the Kings considering San Antonio is 22-3 at home this season. The Spurs are outscoring their opponents by an eye-opening 12.8 points/game at home this year.

The Spurs are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game. San Antonio is 20-6-2 ATS in its last 28 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. The Spurs are 36-16-3 ATS in their last 55 home games. San Antonio is 21-9 ATS when playing only its 2nd game in 5 days over the last 2 seasons. Take the Spurs Friday.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs Denver Nuggets
    Total
    221 un-110
    at BMaker
    15* Thunder/Nuggets ESPN Late-Night BAILOUT on UNDER 221

The books have inflated this number between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets tonight. This will be a nationally televised game on ESPN, which will bring out top-notch effort defensively from both teams. Plus, it will already be the 3rd meeting of the season between these teams, and familiarity favors the defenses.

When you look at recent meetings between Oklahoma City and Denver it's easy to see that this number has been set too high tonight. That's especially the case when you don't count overtime, which is something you can never bank on when handicapping a game.

The Nuggets and Thunder have combined for 220 points or less in 18 straight meetings. That's only counting the first four quarters, and I'll take my chances that this contest doesn't go into OT tonight. This trend makes for a perfect 18-0 system backing the UNDER dating back to 2009 pertaining to tonight's total set. Roll with the UNDER in this game Friday.

      Wunderdog Sports Free Pick

Game: Houston at Orlando (7:00 PM Eastern)
      Pick: Houston -8.5 (-110)
The fate of the Houston Rockets lies with their offense. This is a team that has scored 100+ in 14 of their last 15 games. They will take on the Orlando Magic for the first time this season. The Magic is allowing 46.6% shooting against them as well as 100 points per game, so slowing this Houston attack won't be in the cards tonight. The Magic's offense has only seen the 200-point mark once in their last seven games, and head into the danger zone here as their defense has allowed 107 ppg over their last nine. The Rockets are feasting on bad defenses, and are 21-7 ATS facing a team that allowed 100+ in their last game. The Magic is mired in an ATS slump at 1-10 ATS in their last 11 against a team that scored 100+ in their last game. Houston gets the call.

Memphis Grizzlies at Miami Heat (Fri.): Miami is the clear favorite to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. Memphis is in that second tier of teams contending with San Antonio, Oklahoma City and the LA Clippers in the West. Memphis has a different look after trading away star Rudy Gay, yet they’ve not missed Gay all that much.

The Grizzlies started this week having won seven games in a row, going 5-2 ATS in the process. Yet Memphis was favored in all seven games and are likely to be underdogs of about 3 baskets here. Miami will be playing to avenge a 104-86 loss suffered at Memphis in mid-November.

LeBron James and his Heat teammates have been playing at an extremely high level over the past month and had won 11 in a row through Sunday, going 8-3 ATS during this streak in which they were favored in all but one game.

Miami may be a bit vulnerable here as they have a double revenge date on deck at New York on Sunday, the team that dealt the Heat their two worst defeats thus far this season. GRIZZLIES.

                              6-Unit Play. #832. Take Princeton -5.5 over Harvard (Friday @ 7pm est).
This is an important game for Princeton. This is a team that is 7-2 in conference play and the only 2 losses they have had this year are against Harvard and Yale. Harvard is a team they lost to 69-57 on the road and this is a revenge spot for them at home. Princeton is 5th in the country in 3 point shooting and although that doesn't guarantee they shoot lights out at home, they are still at home, with revenge and they are a top 20 effective field goal percentage team which works to their favor. They were also held sub 60 points against Harvard which does not happen often and as they return home after beating Columbia by 25 on the road and Cornell by 19 on the road, this makes for a good spot to take them here. Harvard is a very good team but they are outside the top 200 in turnover percentage. Though they are 9-1 in conference play, they are a very young team with 4 sophomores and a freshman leading the way. This is the same Princeton team that beat Bucknell at home by 12 points and with revenge in mind, a decent public fade and a crowd that should have this game well attended, look for Princeton to be motivated in this game. With the total dropping as well it favors the favorite in this game and this Princeton defense is a bit better than Harvard's as they are ranked 12th in the nation in defense and Harvard is ranked 129th in the nation in defense. Put that together and you have a Princeton team that likely does well holding Harvard in check and I have them winning this game likely by double-digits today. The Tigers of Princeton are 13-4 ATS in their last 17 games against the Ivy, 21-5 ATS on Friday Games and the Crimson of Harvard are 0-4 ATS at Princeton in their last 4 meetings away from home.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NBA Basketball

Friday is the day where we step-out a bit more with the NBA as compared to the weekdays and the weekend because of the volume of games available:

4-Unit Play. #810. Take Boston -4 over Golden State (Friday @ 7:35pm est).

                              4-Unit Play. #812. Take Miami -8 over Memphis (Friday @ 8:05pm est).

4-Unit Play. #818. Take San Antonio -14.5 over Sacramento (Friday @ 8:35pm est).

Boston likely remembers the 101-83 loss they suffered at the hands of Golden State on the road back in late December and will look to bounce-back today. Golden State comes off back to back losses but they probably don't get back on the saddle until their next game at Philadelphia and will likely struggle as they come into this game today. This team has lost their last 8 of 10 games and although the legend of Stephen Curry goes, look for Boston to do what Boston does typically on revenge games and play well here at home and get revenge on a Friday night contests that will feature their defense as this team still has a lot of heart and are playing well enough to get a decent seeding in the playoffs in a relatively weak Eastern Conference this year once again. Miami has revenge against Memphis from an earlier season beatdown they took and this team always seems to remember their revenge games. Memphis is talked about a potential title contender and Miami has a way of getting up for these big games (except for New York) but they have managed to shine on the national stage time and time again and I wouldn't be surprised if they win this game by double-digits as they did not play well against Sacramento winning in overtime (possibly looking ahead to this game) nor did they play well against Cleveland. Look for them to be motivated coming into this game. Finally, San Antonio had a hiccup against Phoenix at home and its not often do you see this Spurs team lose at home and in particular to a sub .500 team like the Suns. Look for the Spurs to bounce-back here with motivation and with Sacramento coming off a big win at Orlando and this being the last leg of their 5 game road trip, they are likely ready to go home with a road win under their belt and I can see them having a let down here after their big win and the Spurs being able to bounce-back at home and win this game by about 20+ to get out some frustration from their poor showing in their last game.

Indian Cowboy's Picks For NHL Hockey

                              4-Unit Play. #53. Take Over 5.5 Goals Columbus vs. Chicago [+120] (Friday @ 8:30pm)

These two teams meet up for what should be a much more exciting match than people realize. For starters, Columbus played well against Dallas losing 4-5 in overtime at home. Though they have lost their last 8 of 10 straight up, they have played well to the Over as big underdogs on the road. For example, they had a 3-5 contest against Phoenix earlier this year on the road as a similar big underdog of +180. They just lost to Chicago by a score of 0-1 on the road and with everyone loading up on the Under once again for this contest, I expect both teams to make the necessary changes and would not be a bit surprised to see this game actually go over the posted total. Games when they play each other out the second time around are much more competitive and take on the opposite feature of what happened in the first game. The Over is 11-5-2 when the Blue Jackets face a team with a winning record and the Over is 4-1-1 for the Blackhawks when they face a team at home with a winning percentage of less than 40%. Look for this game to likely go over the posted total this evening as Columbus will be a lot more competitive than people realize as it likely goes over.

Robert Ferringo's Picks For NHL Hockey

                                2-Unit Play. Take #55 Minnesota (+1.65) over Anaheim (10 p.m., Friday, March 1)
This line opened with the Ducks as a -1.60 home favorite and has quickly been bet up to the current price of a -1.85 to minus -1.90. The Ducks are a popular team in the market with a 14-3-1 record, and a big reason for the Ducks success early on is their offense which ranks among the best in the league averaging 3.33 goals a game. The Wild added some new faces in the offseason with Zach Parise and Ryan Suter coming in free agency but they have recently added some guys from the minors with one being Jason Zucker who has started to make a impact scoring in back to back games. I think that this Minnesota team is getting better as this group starts to play more games together and despite the Ducks good start along with goalie Viktor Fasth who has a 9-1 overall record I do think that this team has hit it's ceiling and at some point will regress. The prices will be inflated with the demand on the Ducks but I think in this case that the opening number was right, I know the Wild are off a game last night but their schedule hasn't been to overwhelming where I think they will be at a disadvantage tonight. Take the take back here.
