New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Cleveland Cavaliers
+3-110 at BMAKER 22min.
Cleveland is playing some of its best basketball of the season right now, and the Cavs are coming into this one well rested with two nights off while, of course, the Knicks come in on a back-to-back after that epic collapse at home against the Heat on Sunday. The Cavs have covered six of their last seven games, and they even went 2-1 ATS with star Kyrie Irving out of the lineup with wins against the Bulls in Chicago and the Raptors at home. And Irving should be back on the court tonight after missing those three games, and they have a great chance to get a win against a Knicks team that has to be fatigued as this will be their third game in four nights. The Knicks are not playing anywhere near as well as they were when they started the season, but they are getting the same amount of respect from the oddsmakers. They have only one cover in their last 10 games. And, although they have had some tough games in there, it has been a mostly easy schedule. With the fatigue factor for the Knicks and the way the Cavs have been playing (not to mention the boost they will get from having Irving back on the floor), we think this line should be closer to ‘pick,’ and we think there is a great chance this one goes down to the final shot.

TEXAS TECH vs. Kansas Kansas
-24½-110 at BMAKER 17min.
Free Play from Doc's Sports. Take #716 Kansas over Texas Tech (7 p.m., Monday, March 4) I think that Kansas is going to win by about 35 points today. I think it will be a big blowout. This is a mismatch game. The Jayhawks beat West Virginia by 26 points on Saturday. They can do the same here. The Jayhawks are 6-0 ATS in their last five games and they are playing great basketball. They have blown out teams in their last four home games. Texas Tech just snapped a nine-game losing streak with a win over TCU. But the home team is 13-4 ATS in this series and the Jayhawks are 8-1 ATS at home against Tech in the last nine meetings. This one will be a blowout.
Pick: Your pick will be graded at bookmaker @ -9 -110 Denver Expert: Ben Burns Evaluation: March 4, 2013 - 9:00 PM Reason For Pick: I'm playing on DENVER. I really like how this one sets up for the home team. The Hawks are in a very difficult scheduling spot and the Nuggets, who are a commanding 25-3 here at Denver, should be poised to take advantage.
Last time out, the Nuggets beat Oklahoma City - one of the best teams in the league. That was their fourth straight win. The Nuggets, who should be filled with confidence from that big win, have since had two day's off. They come in well-rested. Their previous home game resulted in a double-digit victory against a talented Laker team which has been starting to find its groove.
Speaking of the Lakers, the Hawks just lost a 1-point heartbreaker at LA last night. Those are the type of losses that often can be difficult to recover from. Playing in the altitude against a dangerous opponent doesn't help.
Not only are the Hawks playing the second of back-to-back games, they're also playing the final leg of a 6-game road trip. This will be their 7th game in the last 11 days - every one of those games came in a different city - a journey that began in Atlanta and has seen the Hawks travel all over the country. Fatigue may well be a factor - and the Nuggets should look to push the pace every chance they get.
That's one of the reasons why we've got such a high O/U line here; as I write this the number is sitting at 211 with some shops still at 211.5. (It may climb even higher.) That's noteworthy as the Nuggets tend to excel in games that are expected to be high-scoring, like this one.
In fact, they're 38-20-2 ATS (46-14 SU) the past 60 times that they played a game which had an O/U line of 2010 or greater, including a lucrative 11-1 ATS (12-0 SU) mark their last 12 in that situation. When playing here at Denver, they're a perfect 7-0 SU/ATS when the O/U line was at least 210.
Given the fact that the Hawks beat them earlier at Atlanta, the Nuggets should be fully focused on exacting some revenge. I expect them to keep the pedal to the metal the entire way, en route to a double-digit win. 10* personal favorite
