The Illini have played two games this season against Eastern Washington and Texas A&M CC and both of these games approached 140 total possessions. No reason to think that we don’t get that many possessions against a Commodores team that should be much more up-tempo than either of the first two Illini games. With these many possessions the teams would have to be very inefficient on offense for this game to go under.

While a slug fest could break out it’s just not the Commodores style to play that way. Last season the lowest posted total on a Commodore game was 135.5 and only 1/35 played under today’s total. All though they did lose some scoring off last year’s team with the departure of Foster and Gordan the style remains the same.
