San Antonio outscored Heat 23-16 in 4th quarter to win Game 1; Spurs are now 4-0 as an underdog in the playoffs- Miami is 4-6 vs spread as a home favorite. Spurs covered seven of last eight road games, with 14 of their last 17 away games staying under total. James had 18 rebounds in Game 1, but no other Miami player had more than five; Heat forced just four turnovers. Allen was 3-4 behind arc; rest of Heat was 5-21. With series going to Alamo for Games 3-5, this is huge game for Heat to win. Like we said earlier, Spurs have four championships; they're not in awe here. Playing against quality PG Parker lot tougher for Miami than the last series, when George Hill ran Indiana's offense.

The right-hander has posted a 2.95 ERA and 0.797 WHIP in his last three starts, allowing just 7 earned runs and 17 base runners over 21 1/3 innings. Ryan Dempster has struggled all year for Boston, going 3-6 with a 4.39 ERA and 1.335 WHIP in 12 starts. In three starts against the Angels in 2012, Dempster went 0-2 with a monstrous 11.19 ERA and 2.341 WHIP. This is clearly one team he cannot figure out. The Angels are 6-2 in their last 8 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Los Angeles is 4-0 in its last 4 road games with a total set of 9.0-10.5. The Red Sox are 1-4 in Dempster's last 5 starts as a home favorite. Boston is 8-19 in its last 27 home games as a favorite of -151 to -200. Roll with the Angels Sunday.
