The Stanley Cup Final is set as the Boston Bruins will go up against the Chicago Blackhawks. These teams didn't play during the regular season due to the condensed schedule, but they know each other well since these rosters haven't turned over very much in the last few seasons. The Blackhawks won the Cup three seasons ago and the Bruins won it two years ago, so there is plenty of playoff experience on these clubs as well. This series is going to come down to toughness and goaltending play - two areas where the Bruins have a distinct advantage. The Blackhawks are a finesse team and has struggled at times when the game gets physical. The Bruins just got finished sweeping a similar type team in the Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals. Boston took Pittsburgh completely out of their comfort zone and changed the style of play to be physical and reduce premium scoring chances. Goalie Tuukka Rask also had a lot to do with the series romp as he stopped 134 of 136 shots overall for a ridiculous .985 save percentage. Although Crawford has played pretty well also, there's no question that Rask has been the best netminder in the playoffs by far. This should be a very evenly-matched and well played series. The Hawks have more talent overall on their roster, but the same could be said of the Penguins last series. I give the slight edge to the Bruins, especially at this underdog price. Take Boston to win the Stanley Cup here.
