These two teams will meet for a mini two game set in Seattle. They played two in Pittsburgh earlier this year with Pittsburgh winning the first 4-1 and Seattle winning the second 2-1. Pittsburgh comes into this one sweeping away the Angels in Los Angeles and have won 5 of their last 6 games. The Mariners won two straight on the weekend but are just 3-5 over their last 8. Tonight's meeting will feature an all lefty match up with Jeff Locke starting for Pittsburgh and veteran southpaw Joe Saunders on the mound for Seattle. Locke is 6-1 on the year with a 2.01 ERA, .203 OBA and 1.13 WHIP over 15 starts. He has been one of the best starting pitchers in baseball in June going 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA, .157 OBA and 1.03 WHIP over his 4 starts.
