There is not one single factor that points to take the Nationals in this game other than they are at home. Atlanta has the pitcher with the better numbers this year, they are the better team and as of late have been crushing the baseball. Atlanta is the best team in the NL East by far. Take the Braves.

I know the Dodgers have won 16 consecutive away games and that Clayton Kershaw leads the majors in ERA. Kershaw is in great form, too, posting a 1.47 ERA in his last seven starts.
Still, I can't pass up the Cardinals at home at this 'dog price.
The Cardinals have the second-fewest home losses in baseball. They also have a hot pitcher going, Joe Kelly. And, no, Kelly isn't just some bullpen spare part. He would be a middle-of-the-rotation starter on a lot of teams. He just happens to toil for the pitching-rich Cardinals. Kelly is 2-0 with a 1.90 ERA in four starts since joining the rotation last month. Kelly hasn't given up a run in his last 14 2/3 innings.
During the past two seasons, Kelly has yielded three earned runs or fewer in 18 of 21 starts. He's a real under-the-radar pitcher.
Kelly probably isn't going to have to worry about Hanley Ramirez, who is batting .361 but injured his shoulder on Sunday.
Of course the Dodgers still have Kershaw going. But the Cardinals are the one team that has given him trouble. Kershaw is 2-4 with a 5.15 ERA versus St. Louis.
