This is the time where teams with great tradition make their postseason push. Andy Pettitte is no stranger to performing well when the going gets tough. Both teams need to win this playoff like game and over the past decade it has always been the Yankees who have answered the call. Take New York
Tottenham Hotspur @ Arsenal
The sportsbooks are giving Arsenal a 46/50% winning chance for today's game, but I think Arsenal is actually quite overrated in today's London derby. Sure that they have a great head to head against Tottenham lately, with two 5-2 wins on their last two home games against them, but Arsenal just can't sign anybody on this off-season, while Tottenham seems to be stronger than ever, even without Gareth Bale. Arsenal played a midweek game for the Champions League, where they used their "A squad" to beat Fenerbahçe 2-0. However, Lukas Poloski suffered a severe injury during that game, while Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere also suffered from minor injuries. Ramsey and Wilshere should play today, but they won't be at 100%.
On the other side, Tottenham made several signs over the last few days, but today's lineup should be similar to the one that they presented on their first two rounds of the EPL. Their midfield is a very physical unit and this might be the key for today's game. Etienne Capoue, Paulinho and Moussa Dembele form a very powerful midfield that they can also create quick transition plays, even though they aren't an elite unit in terms of offensive skills. However, this will still be a problem for Arsenal's midfield today, who struggles in getting back into defense quickly. Aston Villa crushed them with that back in Round 1 and Tottenham's gameplan for today will be similar: allow Arsenal to have the ball, but then take a advantage of that to pound Arsenal's poor defensive positioning with very quick transitions.
Tottenham's defense has been very solid early on the season and I expect them to do a good job today against Arsenal's offense, who won't have a lot of quality options for today's game. Therefore, I expect Tottenham to leave today's game with at least one point and so, I'll be taking them on the spread.

Portuguese Primeira Liga
FC Porto @ Paços de Ferreira
We have in here a huge difference of level between these two teams. Paços de Ferreira surprised last season with a 3rd place in the league, but their current team has nothing to do with the team last season, especially with their last year's coach now being FC Porto's new coach, something that will give another edge to Porto today. To make things worse for Paços de Ferreira, their new coach is Costinha, an inexperienced coach who is yet to show any quality to be a coach in this league. This is especially true considering Paços de Ferreira has lost all their official matches this season so far, while showing problems in all sectors. Paços de Ferreira is especially struggling on defense, as they are being prone to commit terrible individual errors.
In normal conditions, Paços would always have a lot of problems today against Portugal's best team, but there are three factors that give an even bigger edge to Porto today:
1) This game will be played in the town of Felgueiras, as Paços's stadium is currently on renovations. On a neutral match, Paços's home factor will be gone.
2) FC Porto's two main rivals (Benfica & Sporting) faced each other last night and tied 1-1. A FC Porto's win today will give them a 2 points lead over Sporting and a 5 points lead over Benfica with just three rounds played!
3) Paços de Ferreira played a midweek game at Russia for Champions League, where they used their best lineup. Paços is a small team with no experience with playing twice a week, especially with a huge trip to Russia involved.
FC Porto had also a similar line at Round 1, where they played at Setubal against a much better team than Paços right now. I expect an easy win for FC Porto today, so I'll be taking them on the spread today.

Game: Philadelphia at Chicago Cubs (2:20 PM Eastern)
Pick: Chicago Cubs -121 (moneyline) at Sportsbook.com
Philadelphia is a bad road team at 7-19 in their last 26 road games, and 8-21 as a road underdog. The offense is No. 27 in baseball in runs scored and on base percentage with no power. Starter Kyle Kendrick has lost three straight decisions and four of his last five. The Phillies are also 1-6 in Kendrick's last seven road starts against a team with a losing record. He faced the Cubs earlier this year and allowed 5 runs (4 earned) in six innings. The Phillies are 4-14 in their last 18 road games vs. a right-handed starter and face Chicago righty Jake Arrieta, who is 2-1 at Wrigley Field in 31 innings where opponents hit .194 off him. The Cubs held on for a 4-3 win Saturday and get another win today. Play the Cubs.
On Sunday the free MLB Power system Play is on the LA. Dodgers. Game 958 at 2:10 eastern. This one is too high a favorite to unit rate but for a free play were ok. Zack Greinke has produced a team record of 26-0 as a home favorite of more than -140, if his team did not blow a 5+ run lead in his last start. LA has won 25 of 32 vs losing teams and 4 of 5 as a home favorite in this range. The Padres have lost 20 of 30 vs winning teams. Greinke is 3-0 vs the Padres with a 2.37 era. He has won 10 of 11 here at home and has a 1.12 era in his last 3 starts. In home starts Greinke has won 7 of 8 home in September. T. Ross has been good this year, but the innings are starting to pile up and he has allowed 11 runs in his last 2 starts. We will back the Dodgers today.
