The Rays had a walk off home run in dramatic fashion to beat the Red Sox, but if you notice the Rays only beat the Red Sox in that type of fashion and that is just not going to happen every single night. Boston is the better ball club and have really been better head to head this year. Look for Tampa's slipper to come off once midnight strikes. Take the Red Sox.
Denver Money NHL Money Line Tue, 10/08/13 - 7:35 PM
double-dime bet - 59 TAM (-110) vs 60 BUF
2* Tampa Bay Lightning -110
Get this game in early, cause the line will continue to move. Enroth is looking like the starter tonight for Buffalo as Miller is still healing his groin and the Lightning are coming off a nice road win against Chicago and will look to build on the momentum tonight in Buffalo. Sabres haven't looked that good early on in the season here and I think they come out slow again tonight. I will take the road favorite to get the job done tonight.
Game: Tampa Bay at Buffalo (7:35 PM Eastern)
Pick: Buffalo +102 (moneyline) at BetOnline
The Sabres are 0-3 and desperate for a win. I think they get it. Yes, Buffalo's offense has really struggled. But Tampa's hasn't been blowing the doors off, averaging just 2.0 goals per game. The Sabres have allowed just one goal at home this season, so look for a low scoring game in which I believe Buffalo, being at home, has the edge. Over the past couple of seasons, Buffalo is 9-3 after scoring less than three goals in three straight games. Take the home team to get off the schneid here.

25* MLB Playoffs TOTAL OF THE YEAR on Red Sox/Rays OVER 7.5
The books are giving both Jake Peavy and Jeremy Hellickson way too much respect tonight. I look for the biggest slug fest of the series thus far to take place at Tropicana Field in Game 4 Tuesday.
Each of the first three games in this series have gone OVER the number. They combined for 14 runs in Game 1, 11 runs in Game 2 and 9 runs in Game 3. Every starting pitcher that has been out there for each team is better than both starters tonight.
Jake Peavy is 12-5 with a 4.17 ERA over 23 starts this season. He has really struggled on the road, going 5-5 with a 5.27 ERA in 14 starts away from home. Jeremy Hellickson is 11-10 with a 5.24 ERA in 31 starts this season. He has been atrocious of late, going 0-2 with a 7.81 ERA In his last three starts.
The OVER is 7-0 in Red Sox last 7 games overall. The OVER is 5-0 in Red Sox last 5 road games. The OVER is 7-0-1 in Red Sox last 8 road games as a favorite of -110 to -110. The OVER is 5-0 in Rays last 5 vs. AL East opponents. These four trends combine for a 24-0 system backing the OVER. Bet the OVER in Game 4 Tuesday.
