ARIZONA ST. (163) AT UCLA (164)
Latest Line:UCLA +1.5; Total: 62.5
The wrong team is favored here, as UCLA is 5-0 SU (4-1 ATS) at home this season, outscoring these visitors 48 to 19 on average. Arizona State is 1-3 ATS on the road this year, and 2-8 ATS in November games since 2011. The Bruins are also 27-12 ATS (69%) as a home underdog since 1992. UCLA can beat you in many facets with do-it-all QB Brett Hundley (who threw 4 TD in last year's win over the Sun Devils) and has a new facet on offense with its new goal-line threat, LB/RB Myles Jack, who scored 4 TD last week. This game will be tight and high-scoring, but UCLA, which is 8-2 ATS in the past 10 meetings in the series (5-0 ATS at home), will find a way to win in the end.

4-Unit Play. Take #742 Pacific (-2) over Fresno State (10:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23)
Fresno State has won this rivalry series the past two years. But I think that Pacific is set to get
some revenge. The favorite has beaten the spread in this series in five of the last seven meetings
and I like the host Tigers in this one. Fresno State lost a lot of talent to graduation and transfer
in the offseason. They are in a rebuilding period. Pacific has a nice home court advantage and
they will have an edge on the interior. This team has two players scoring over 15 points per game
and they can beat opponents inside and out. Pacific gets the cash in this one.
2-Unit Play. Take #740 Utah State (-12) over Mississippi State (9 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23)
This is a chance for the Aggies to get a big win over a BCS opponent. I think they will play one of
their best games of the season against this weak Bulldogs team. Injuries have really hurt this
Bulldogs team that past two years and they are still trying to rebuild this program. Utah State has
a big home court advantage and they will be pumped up for this game. I don't think they will hold
back and I expect this to be a blowout from start to finish.

2 Unit Play. Take #757 Toledo -2 over Detroit (5:30p.m., Saturday, Nov 23)
Who cares that Detroit gets this game in their backyard because Toledo has been light out
scoring points. Toledo is averaging 94.8ppg (higher then some NBA teams) and if Detroit can't
slow down the Rockets this game gets ugly for the home town team. Toledo scores big, wins big,
and covers big! Toledo is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games.
2 Unit Play. Take #778 Portland St -7 over SIU Edwardsville (8:30p.m., Saturday, Nov 23)
I can guarantee you this that Portland St will win this game on their tough defense and not their
poor offense. Scoring points for the Vikings hasn't been their strong point but they make it up on
the defensive side of the ball. If Portland St can control the boards and keep SIU from hitting the
65 mark or above this game goes in the win column for the Vikings. Portland St is 4-1 ATS in their
last 5 non-conference games. SIU is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and 1-4 ATS following SU
loss.

2-Unit Play. #795 Take Georgia Southern (+9) over Old Dominion (3 p.m., Saturday, November
23)
This is too many points for a ho hum ODU team to be laying. They don't score at an impressive
rate, so I can't see the Monarchs running away from this game. We'll see this one being played in
the high 60s or low 70s and Georgia Southern will do well to stay in the game with a chance to
win it in the second half. Take the points here.
2-Unit Play. #731 Take Tulsa (+19.5) over Creighton (3:30 p.m., Saturday, November 23)
Tulsa essentially has four starters back from last year's team, including Rashad Smith who missed most of the last season. I know the Blue Jays can score but I do not see them running away with
this game. The Golden Hurricane played ranked Wichita State even for a half last time out before
a poor second half. I expect them to be even stronger here for the full 40 minutes and a cover is
the result for the underdogs.
2-Unit Play. #733 Take Cal State Fullerton (-2.5) over San Jose State (3:30 p.m., Saturday,
November 23)
Fullerton has enough to win on the road here, but the main reason for this play is to fade San
Jose State. The Spartans just do not have much going for themselves this season. They are a
poor team and I will gladly back some of the middle of the rung mid-majors such as the Titans
with a modest number such as this. Big West over Mountain West in this one.
3-Unit Play. #757 Take Toledo (-2) over Detroit (5:30 p.m., Saturday, November 23)
The Rockets are the better team. I am in TItans fade mode this season after having lost a lot of
scoring from a season ago. Detroit won big last night, however that was because they played a
bad Florida Atlantic team and perhaps the final scored swayed this line. Both teams played last
night and had impressive performances, however Detroit graduated too much talent to suggest
that is what you can expect from them. A one-off, more or less. Toledo is much better and will
win for a second straight night. We cashed them Friday night against Stony Brook with 103 points
on the board. It's not this many again but a bigger margin of victory for the MAC program.
3-Unit Play. #779 Take Eastern Washington (-2) over LIU Brookyln (6 p.m., Saturday,
November 23)
Going with experience-laden Big Sky squad Eastern Washington in this one. The Eagles have
scored 80 points or more in every game this season. LIU Brooklyn are allowing nearly 80 points per
game this season. EWU won last night comfortably and again score their second victory in as many nights before taking on the hosts UC Irvine on Sunday in this tournament regional. Eastern Washington by nine.
