While Chicago traditionally has been one of the league’s best defensive sides, Detroit’s defensive intensity on most nights has been poor as they are allowing the opposition to average 100 points per contest. This is a law-of-averages wager as Chicago checks having lost four in a row outright, but the Bulls have not dropped five in a row since way back in the 2010 campaignComment

There were a lot of expectations for both of these teams entering the season, but the results simply have not been there. The Lakers try to hold serve until Kobe is back, and doing his thing. the Nets made a lot of moves in the offseason, but this team has not found the chemistry to let the talent play the right roles yet. Brooklyn is just 4-10 on the season, and three of those wins were by 2 points or less, so just one time all season have they beaten this line.
