You'll notice that the line sits at just at a basic pick-em which is because the oddsmakers are expecting Detroit to likely win this game against Cleveland who is just not in sync right now. Detroit had scored more than a 100 points in its last 6 games before scoring 94 against Houston and losing badly at home. This is a bounce-back game for them and you can't hold the Houston loss against them because Houston was coming off an ugly loss to the Pacers and were looking to bounce-back. Cleveland had scored more than a 100 points in their last 5 games as well and for them to score sub 90 against Chicago puts them in a bounce-back offensive performance here too. And, you can't hold that performance against this team because the Bulls were ticked off from losing to the Thunder the contest prior and they too were looking to bounce-back. So, you have two teams that did not reach their scoring potential in their last two contests, both have an up tempo type of offense and with Detroit likely being an active dog here and Cleveland as the home team, look for this game to likely go over the posted total. The Over is 5-0 for the Pistons following a double-digit loss at home and the Over is 4-1 for the Cavs when they face a team with a straight up losing record.

This is a team that had won 5 straight all as underdogs prior to that so I suspect they will bounce-back here at home, with revenge and with Tampa Bay away from home after back to back wins at home, look for a let down spot here for the Boltz as Florida likely picks up the win as the line indicates. The Lightning are 27-59 in their last 86 road games and Florida is 5-1 in their last 6 overall, on the bounce-back with revenge and in a decent spot here.
