NC State is probably not in a good mood after losing to Missouri by a few points in their last contest. This is a team that hash bounced-back well this year after a loss that includes losing at Cincinnati by 9 points to beating Campbell at home by 15 and losing to NC Central at home to bounce-back and beat Florida Gulf Coats by 20 in their next contest. Such is the case here as NC State faces NC Greensboro after the tough loss against Missouri and with UNC Greensboro winning a shocking game at Virginia Tech, this is likely a let down spot for Greensboro as they face the big brother in state. Greensboro is outside the top 250 in turnover margin and though they have had some quality contests this year, note that when they have faced teams with high potent offense they have struggled. For example, this team lost by 31 to North Carolina on the road (which is probably not lost on NC State the margin of that contest) and lost b 37 to Louisiana Tech (on neutral footing) which is roughly the same power ranking of NC State. I have this contest at 14.5 here so with NC State on the bounce-back, having the ability to 80+ points, against a team outside the top 275 with not being in a good mood and that team coming off a big win, don't be surprised to see NC State likely do well here today. The Spartans of Greensboro are 3-10 ATS following an ATS win of late and 2-5-1 ATS following a straight up win.

Good opportunity to take the Over here. It makes sense for multiple reasons 1 of which is that Charlotte and Utah played in a defensive struggle earlier this year going 88-85 with Utah winning on the road and the game going well under the 189 line. This contest is different as Charlotte will likely be an active underdog and push this game over the posted total. For whatever reason, Charlotte scores more points on the road of late including 116 at Detroit, 94 against Indiana (tough to do against a defensive Indiana team) and even the Atlanta game was 202 in regular before going to 234 in overtime. With Utah consistently scoring more points at home, coming off a tough game against the Clippers scoring just 90 points against a defensive team in the Clippers and generally scoring more at home, look for this game to likely go over the posted total this evening. Normally the second game between two teams takes on the opposite tone to the first game both ATS wise as well as total wise. I believe Charlotte likely wins this game Outright but more importantly, I believe this game likely goes over the posted total as the Over is 4-0 in the Bobcats last 4 road games, the Over is 5-1 when the Bobcats face a team with a losing home record and the Over is 7-3 for the Jazz when they face a team with a straight up losing record as well.

You would have to think that Washington is tired of losing to Ottawa. It's surprising but Washington has lost to Ottawa the last 5 times they have played. This includes losing 6-4 at Washington earlier this year as -126 favorites. This is a big revenge game for Washington and I think they finally step-up today. Note that this team does not typically lose back to back games and come off a 1-2 loss to Buffalo as -127 chalk in extra time on the road. They will likely be irritated going into Ottawa today who comes off a big win against Boston (a home and home revenge situation) winning 4-3 as small +115 underdogs. It seems every time this team has a big win, they have a let down in their next game. For example, they beat Pittsburgh at home 5-0 as +109 underdogs, only to lose to Boston in their next game 0-5 on the road as +172 underdogs only to beat Boston back at home with revenge 4-3 as small underdogs.
