The Line: This number opened at 139 and that it is where it at this writing. There are reasons to think that it will go up but getting a handle on these things this year has been tougher than usual. The number we have is a good one though..
Why We Bet It: The first meeting between these two teams showed good pace throughout both in the 1st Half and 2nd half and with this game being back at, home where the Trojans Pace more usually, plus the willingness of Utah to play along, this number we have received offers great value. Our number here is well above what has been posted and is 147.7. That means that you can play this one for 3%. As always there are some factors that I am not willing to discuss in determining how we arrive at our number but one thing is for sureÝ. We should see lot's of Free Throws in this one based on the styles of play and how they clash. In addition, both teams have been on their best game offensively of late, especially Utah who is nailing their 3 pointers at a high rate. USC has found their Free Throw shooting skills of late as well after struggling most of the season. These reasons are partly the reasons why Utah is 3-0 OVER their last 3 and USC is 5-1-1 as well to the OVER. A likely close contest based on the betting line of 3.5 in most cases help our chances here.
Biggest Concerns: When USC wants to they can play a good brand of defense and the Utes are not as prolific at scoring points on the road. Trojan Free Throw shooting issues could. also rear it's ugly head, and as always, score differential at the end of the game could slow down pace and scoring. These are all minor concerns..
Added Notes: According to my number, you can play this one up to 142.5 for the Full 3% and then decrease to 2% after than but it's not likely to even go up that high anyway..

The Indiana - Purdue Jaguars have had a rough season at 5-21, but that is just part of the story. The Jaguars have three wins vs. Division-3 teams, and are otherwise a brutal 2-21.
