      Gavazzi MLB

      Sunday, May 4th

      MLB

Washington (Gonzalas) (-135) at Philadelphia (Hernandez) 1:05 ET

      4% Washington -135

Love the situation in the pitching matchup. All greater than .500 teams for playing on the road following a loss are 54-28 this season. With Washington coming off a 7-2 loss on Saturday, must note that the Nats are 7-1 following a defeat of late. In spite of that loss, they are still 8-3 vs. the Phillies in this series of late. Hernandez will fill in for ailing Hamils. For the year –to- date, Hernandez has a 5.74 ERA allowing 41 base runners in 26 2/3 IP. The Phills are just 2-4 in his 6 starts losing the last 2. Much the opposite is true of Gonzalez. Washington is 5-1 in his starts including 3-0 recently. For the season, Gonzalez has a 3.25 ERA with 38/13 KBB. IN 8 starts vs. Philly, Gonzalez has worked 50 2/3 innings with a 2.66 ERA and 56/18 KBB.

Milwaukee (Lohse) at Cincinnati (Simon) (-115) 4:10 ET

      3% Cincinnati (-115 Action)

Each of these pitchers is outstanding relegating this to an Action play with the Hunter vs. the Hunted. In filling in for Latos, Simon has been brilliant. In 5 starts, he has allowed 2 or less runs and 5 or less hits in each start with a .183 BAA. That is good for a 4-1 record with a 1.60 ERA. Lohse can match that 4-1 record with a 2.70 ERA and 40/11 KBB. Yet I clearly favor the Reds in this series finale. Despite winning 2/3 from the Brewers in this weekend set, Cincinnati still trails Milwaukee by 6 ½ games. Milwaukee entered the week at 18-7. Without Braun in the lineup, they have gone just 3-3 with a .204 BA. The Reds bullpen was a concern to begin the season. In the last 10 games, however, these relievers have returned to form with a 2.14 ERA.

NY Mets (Gee) at Colorado (Chacin) (-130) 4:10 ET

      3% Colorado -130 Action

Finally! We won a 1 run game. We had the Rockies last night who trailed 6-0 out of the gate. An 8 run 5th game them the lead. But they needed a 2 run walk off homer for the eventual 11-10 victory. Now we are 12-19, 5-10 recently in 1 run decisions. Hoping last night’s victory keys a huge streak of 1 run wins to even our record. Despite that record in 1 run games, $100 % of bankroll players are still +$1470. Today we will back the Rockies again by a field where they have won 6-7 from the Mets. Colorado enters on a run of 6-1 outscoring the opposition 51-32. Last night’s win boosts the record at Coors to 11-4 where they have averaged 7.9 RPG. Gee has pitched well for the Mets with a 2.88 ERA with little to show for it as the Mets have alternated team wins and losses in his 6 starts. Chacin makes his first start of the season but in 20 IP vs. the Mets has a 1.80 ERA.

Tampa Bay (Bedard) at NY Yankees (Sabathia) (-1 ½ runs, +135) 1:05 ET

      5% NY Yankees -1 ½ runs, +135

We won with the Yankees yesterday on the run line and come right back today. We have faded Bedard in each of his starts resulting in a 3-1 record for us. In those 4 starts, Bedard has a 5.52 ERA allowing 27 BR in 14 2/3 IP with a 10/10 KBB. HE IS NOW 0-9 in his last 15 starts. Pitching from this mound, Bedard is 1-3 with a 5.01 ERA. In his starts against NYY on April 18th Bedard lasted just 3 2/3 IP allowing 4 runs. Though Sabathia has a 5.11 ERA, his solid 41/8 KBB indicates better is in the offing. In his April 17th start against Tampa Bay, he went 7 innings allowing just 2 runs on 7 hits in a 10-2 win. In the previous 4 seasons, 153/202 NYY home wins have come by 2 or more runs. This year, 12-16 NYY wins have come by 2 or more runs. For Tampa Bay, all 10 of their road losses this year have come by 2 or more runs. Play the Yankees on the run line as your top play of the day.

Chicago White Sox (Rienzo) at Cleveland (Kluber) (-155) 1:05 ET

      4% Cleveland -155

This is the CWS team we grew to love last year by playing against them. The Pale Hose are now on a 0-4 slide with a .212 BA. That drops their road record to 5-10 following a 26-55 road log last year. Returning home from a 0-6 road trip, the site of the White Sox has brought Cleveland to life. With a pair of victories this weekend, Cleveland has now won 8 straight vs. CWS on this field outscoring them 48-23. Kluber has pitched his best baseball from this mound this season. In 3 starts, Kluber has a 2.91 ERA with a 22/3 KBB. In a pair of appearances against Cleveland, Rienzo has worked 11 innings allowing 8 runs with 20 base runners. Play Cleveland for the sweep.

Toronto (McGowan) at Pittsburgh (Volquez) (-120) 1:35 ET

      3% Pittsburgh -120

The Pirates entered this series reeling. On a 2-10 slide, Pittsburgh was hitting .217 averaging just 2.8 RPG. In 15/28 games, the Bucs had scored 2 or less runs. That all changed at the site of the Toronto pitching staff. Pittsburgh won the last two nights, by combined scores of 14-11 with a .387 BA. Toronto has now gone 1/8 in no small part because in the last 10 games Toronto has a 6.65 ERA including an 8.81 bullpen ERA. McGowan has a 5.87 ERA for the year including 7.07 in losing his last 3 starts. Volquez has been reborn with the Bucs posting a 3.21 ERA, 18/6 KBB while allowing just 34 BR in 33 2/3 IP. The Bucs get the sweep.

              GC: MLB Play

Sunday card has 3 NBA Play and 2 MLB Plays. There are 2 Perfect totals systems, the Sunday night ESPN Side and the 6* Western Conf. Undefeated system side. Top NBA Total cashes on Saturday along with Kentucky Derby. Free MLB Play below

On Sunday the free MLB System Play is on the NY. Yankees. Game 916 at 1:05 eastern. The Yankees fit a solid system here that has cashed 21 of 29 times and plays on certain home favorites that won by 5 or more runs in their last game as a home favorite of -200 or higher and had 10+ hits, vs an opponent off a road dog loss and scored 4 or less runs on 5+ hits. The Yankees blasted Tampa 9-3 on Saturday and have a pitching Edge with C.C. Sabathis who beat the Rays and D. Price 2 weeks ago. Sabathia allowed just 1 run in 7 innings in that game. Today he will face E. Bedard who has struggled with his velocity and clearly is not what he once was. Bedard allowed 4 runs in 3+ inning sin an earlier start vs NY. The Yankees are 4-0 on Sunday while Tampa is 0-4. The Rays are just 3-8 in day games, while hitting .224. In contrast the Yankees are 9-2 in their last 11 day games. Look for the Yankees to win this one. On Sunday we have a Huge 6* 100% Western Conf. System side and a pair of 5* plays in the early game a side and total. In MLB We have a Solid ESPN System winner. Sunday night MLB 3-0 this year. Finally we have a 100% Totals system in bases with several big angles. NBA Top totals plays cashes as well as the Kentucky Derby.Message to Jump on now and end the week big. For the free play take the NY. Yankees. GC
