The Los Angeles Dodgers have yet to really get their game on, and their 6-11 record at home is going to change. Zack Greinke is having a good season at 5-1 with a 2.35 ERA. In his last 19 starts, Greinke has pitched at least five innings, allowing 2 runs or less in all but one of them, so he certainly will keep the Giants off the scoreboard in this one. Matt Cain has yet to win for the Giants at 0-3 with a 4.35 ERA, and he missed his last two starts with an index finger cut, so he may not have command. He has not pitched in quite some time, and his track record vs. the Dodgers is not a good one with a 5-11 lifetime record going against them. The Dodgers get on track at home behind Greinke.

Pretty good pitching matchup tonight in Cincinnati as the Reds will send Alfredo Simon (4-1, 1.99 ERA) to the mound against the Rockies Jordan Lyles (4-0, 2.62 ERA) The Rockies are the highest scoring team in MLB right now at 5.7 runs per game and they look to bounce back from a 4-3 loss on Friday night to these Reds. Interesting stat here is that the Rockies are 13-3 in their last 16 games after a loss and they are 7-1 in their last Game 2 of a series. We like Lyles to once again keep the Reds bats quiet, while we think the Rockies get back to hitting the baseball tonight against Simon. The Sharps say…
